Sadao Abe, Aya Ueto, & Yuta Tamamori cast in movie “Shylock’s Children”

Sadao Abe, Aya Ueto, & Yuta Tamamori are cast in movie “Shylock’s Children.” The film is based on 2006 novel “Shylock no Kodomotachi” by Jun Ikeido (“Naoki Hanzawa“). TV station WOWOW will also air drama series “Shylock’s Children” this October, which is their own adaptation of the Jun Ikeido novel and not directly related to the movie version. Also cast in supporting roles for the movie are Toshiro Yanagiba, Tetta Sugimoto, Ryuta Sato, Isao Hashizume, Akira Emoto, and Kuranosuke Sasaki.

“Shylock’s Children” will be released February 17, 2023 in Japan.

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Masahiro Nishiki (Sadao Abe) is a veteran bank clerk, working at the Nagahara branch for Tokyo Daiichi Bank. One day, a cash-lost incident takes place at the Nagahara branch. Masahiro Nishiki chases after the truth behind the cash-lost case with his colleagues Airi Kitagawa (Aya Ueto) and Yoji Tabata (Yuta Tamamori). A fact behind the incident is discovered.
