Second teaser trailer added for tvN drama series “Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist” starring Kim Min-Jae, Kim Hyang-Gi, & Kim Sang-Kyung. The drama series is set during the Joseon era and follows a royal physician who beings to work in a rural village. Captions in the teaser trailer, as it introduces the three main characters, states (0:03) “Genius doctor Yoo Se-Poong, who can’t give acupuncture treatment,” (0:06)
“Widow Seo Eun-Woo who is beautiful and is good at everything,” (0:08) “Bizarre doctor Gye Ji-Han who only cares about money.”
“Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist” will first air August 1, 2022 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Monday and Tuesday 10:30 PM time slot after “Link: Eat, Love, Kill“).
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Yoo Se-Poong (Kim Min-Jae) is a physician for the royal family. He becomes involved in a conspiracy of the royal family. This leads to his ouster from the royal palace and he begins to work in the strange, but, beautiful, Gyesu Village. There, Yoo Se-Poong meets Seo Eun-Woo (Kim Hyang-Gi) and Gye Ji-Han (Kim Sang-Kyung). Yoo Se-Poong develops into a doctor who treats a patients’ physical ailments and also their mental pains.
