Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “I Am Makimoto” starring Sadao Abe. Movie is directed by Nobuo Mizuta. Director Nobuo Mizuta and actor Sadao Abe have previously worked together in comedy films “Maiko haaaan!!!,” “No More Cry!!!,” and “The Apology King.” More supporting cast members have also been announced for the film and they are Hikari Mitsushima, Ryudo Uzaki, Kouhei Matsushita, Denden, Suzuki Matsuo, Yoshiyuki Tsubokura, Rie Miyazawa, and Jun Kunimura.
“I Am Makimoto” will be released September 30, 2022 in Japan.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: So Makimoto (Sadao Abe) works in the omiokuri department at city hall. The department’s main responsibility is to hold funerals for deceased individuals without family members and bury them at a cemetery. So Makimoto doesn’t like to socialize with other people or listen to other people. By doing his job, he meets various people and slowly begins to change his life.
