First script reading for KBS2 drama series “Born Again”

First script reading for KBS2 drama series “Born Again” took place late January, 2020 at KBS Annex Building in Yeouido, Seoul, South Korea. Attending the first script reading were cast members Chang Ki-Yong, Jin Se-Yun, Lee Soo-Hyuk, Kim Jung-Nan, Choi Kwang-Il, Jung In-Gyeom, and Jang Won-Young. According to the staff, the first script reading was full of energy and passion. The lead actors did their best like it was a real filming.

“Born Again” is tentatively scheduled to first air April 20, 2020 in South Korea.

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: “Born Again” tells the story of 2 men and 1 woman who become involved in the 1980’s and again in the present day through reincarnation and fate.

In the 1980’s, Kong Ji-Cheol (Chang Ki-Yong) denies his fate to become devilish like his father. In the present day, Cheon Jong-Beom (Chang Ki-Yong) is a medical school student.

In the 1980’s, Jung Ha-Eun (Jin Se-Yun) suffers from dilated cardiomyopathy. She owns the used bookstore “Old Future.” In the present day, Jung Sa-Bin (Jin Se-Yun) is an instructor of archaeology. She pets nameless remains warmly and figures out their story. The secret of those nameless remains are uncovered.

In in the 1980’s, Cha Hyeong-Bin (Lee Soo-Hyuk) is a detective who loves only one person. In the present day, Kim Soo-Hyeok (Lee Soo-Hyuk) is a prosecutor, who believes in a crime gene that is inherited.
