Masami Nagasawa, Sadao Abe, and Sho Gunji are cast in movie “Mother.” The film is inspired by a true story of a boy who killed his grandparents and is directed by Tatsushi Omori (“Tada’s Do-It-All House“). In addition, the first teaser trailer for the movie has been added on AsianWiki. The teaser trailer starts off with a teen boy walking in broad daylight with blood splattered over his clothes. Captions in the scene states in Japanese “17-year-old boy / grandparents murder.”
“Mother” will be released sometime during summer, 2020 in Japan.
Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: Akiko (Masami Nagasawa) is a single mother and her son is Shuhei (Sho Gunji). Akiko casually has sex with other men, including Ryo (Sadao Abe). Akiko is the only person whom Shuhei can rely on. One day, Shuhei kills his grandparents.
