Junpei Mizobata is cast for the lead role in Fuji TV-Tokai TV drama series “Mask Reunion” (literal title). The drama series is based on 2014 novel “Kamen Dosokai” by Shusuke Shizukui. Some other novels by Shusuke Shizukui that were previously adapted into films are “Killing For The Prosecution” and Fuji TV drama series “Bitter Blood.” In the drama series, Junpei Mizobata will playsYosuke Shintani. He attends a high school reunion and with some friends there kidnaps a former teacher. The teacher is found dead the next day.
“Mask Reunion” will first air June 1, 2019 in Japan.
