Hikaru Yamazaki cast in movie “Makuko”

Hikaru Yamazaki is cast for main character role in movie “Makuko.” Also cast in supporting roles are Ninon, Tsuyoshi Kusanagi and Risa Sudo. The film follows 5th grade student Satoshi played by Hikaru Yamazaki. Ninon will play transfer student Kozue, while Tsuyoshi Kusanagi and Risa Sudo will play the parents of Satoshi. Movie “Makuko” is based on 2016 novel “Makuko” by Kanako Nishi (“The Round Table“) and directed by Keiko Tsuruoka.

“Makuko” will be released sometime next year in Japan.
