Character teasers for MBC drama series “W”

Character teaser trailers added for upcoming MBC drama series “W” starring Lee Jong-Suk & Han Hyo-Joo. The two character teasers feature main characters Kang Chul (Lee Jong-Suk) and Oh Yeon-Joo (Han Hyo-Joo). Fans will be torn in July as “W” will go up against KBS2 drama series “Uncontrollably Fond” starring Kim Woo-Bin and Bae Suzy.

“W” will first air July 20, 2016 in South Korea.

Here’s the first still images of Lee Jong-Suk in upcoming MBC drama series “W” co-starring Han Hyo-Joo. In the drama series, Lee Jong-Suk plays Kang Chul. His character is the founder of a venture company and has 800 billion won ($687 million) in assets. His character is also intelligent and righteous.

First script reading for MBC drama series “W”

First script reading for upcoming MBC drama series “W,” starring Lee Jong-Suk & Han Hyo-Joo, took place early this month at MBC Broadcasting Station in Sangam, South Korea. At the first script reading Lee Jong-Suk, Han Hyo-Joo, Jeong Eu-Gene, Lee Tae-Hwan and other main cast members attended. In the drama series, Lee Jong-Suk plays Kang Chul. His character is an Olympic gold medalist in shooting sports and he now runs a company. He is cold-blooded, but smart. Meanwhile, Han Hyo-Joo plays Oh Yeon-Joo. Her character is a second year resident of thoracic surgery. She is bright and has warm heart.

Lee Jong-Suk and Han Hyo-Joo offered leading roles in MBC drama series “W”

Lee Jong-Suk and Han Hyo-Joo have been offered the leading roles in upcoming MBC drama series “W.” The drama series will be directed by Jung Dae-Yoon (“The King 2hearts“) and written by Song Jae-Jung (“Coffee House“). Both Lee Jong-Suk and Han Hyo-Joo are in discussion with the production company over their roles. The drama series has a high probability to air sometime this July in South Korea.
