Uhm Ji-Won and Ahn Jae-Wook are cast for lead roles in KBS2 drama series “Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers” (literal title). The drama series, scripted by Koo Hyun-Sook (“Never Twice“), will have Uhm Ji-Won play Ma Gwang-Sook. She becomes a widow only 10 days after marrying the CEO of Eagle Brewery. She then takes over the brewery and becomes the breadwinner for her four younger brother-in-laws. Ahn Jae-Wook will play Han Dong-Seok. Although he is wealthy, he lives in loneliness as a widow. He then meets Ma Gwang-Sook.
“Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers” will first air February, 2025 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Saturday and Sunday 7:55 PM time slot after “Iron Family“).
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Ma Gwang-Sook (Uhm Ji-Won) works as a section chief at the Shiwan Post Office. She is 45 years old and single. She meets Oh Jang-Soo, who is CEO of Eagle Brewery, and they decide to get married. But, only 10 days after their marriage, Oh Jang-Soo gets into an accident and dies. Ma Gwang-Sook takes over the brewery and becomes the breadwinner for her 4 younger brother-in-laws. She has a cheerful and lively personality, which helps her persevre.
Han Dong-Seok (Ahn Jae-Wook) is the chairman of LX Hotel. He was born into a wealthy family and has never lacked anything, but having lost his wife 15 years ago, he lives his life with loneliness. He is also arrogant and has a clear opinion on what he thinks is right or wrong. He meets Ma Gwang-Sook.
