First teaser trailer added for KBS2 drama series “Oasis” starring Jang Dong-Yoon, Seol In-A, & Choo Yeong-Woo. The drama series is set during the 1980-1990’s and follows the friendship of three people. Caption in the teaser trailer states (0:09) “The time when we shined the most.” Meanwhile, narration in the teaser goes (0:03) Choo Yeong-Woo “Do you think you can beat me? You see her face even though she is not in front of you. Your heart beats like a drum, right?,” (0:17) Seol In-A “You guys must be crazy after you’ve gave me so much trouble, then you guys are asking me for a date?,” and (0:25) Jang Dong-Yoon “If I hadn’t met you then, would my fate have been different from now?”
“Oasis” is now scheduled to first air March 6, 2023 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Monday & Tuesday 10PM time slot after “Brain Works“).
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Set during the 1980’s and 1990’s, a story unfolds about the dreams, friendships, and love of three young people.
Lee Du-Hak (Jang Dong-Yoon) is a high school student in a provincial city. He comes from a poor family background, but he is smart and compassionate. He falls in love with Oh Jung-Shin (Seol In-A) at first sight, who is a transfer student from Seoul. Lee Du-Hak gets involved in an unexpected case and this changes his life.
Oh Jung-Shin is always honest and confident. She is brave enough to fight against injustice. After transferring to her new school from Seoul, she forms a bond with Lee Du-Hak and Choi Cheol-Woong (Choo Yeong-Woo).
Since Choi Cheol-Woong was a child, he and Lee Du-Hak have been friends and also rivals. Choi Cheol-Woong is the type of person who can’t accept losing. He falls in love with transfer student Oh Jung-Shin, but she doesn’t love him.
