Hwang Jung-Min and Jung Hae-In cast in “Veteran 2”

Hwang Jung-Min and Jung Hae-In are cast for lead roles in sequel film “Veteran 2.” Hwang Jung-Min will reprise his role of Detective Seo Do-Cheol and Jung Hae-In will play new character Park Sun-Woo. Jung Hae-In’s new character of Park Sun-Woo is scripted as a young detective who joins the violent crime investigation team led by Seo Do-Cheol (Hwang Jung-Min). The film is a sequel to 2015 movie “Veteran,” which starred Hwang Jung-Min and Yoo Ah-In.

Also cast in “Veteran 2” are Oh Dal-Su, Jang Yoon-Ju, Oh Dae-Hwan, and Kim Shi-Hoo. All four of these actors appeared in the original 2015 movie “Veteran” as supporting characters and they will play the same roles in the sequel film. Director Ryoo Seung-Wan also returns to helm the sequel film. Filming for “Veteran 2” will begin December, 2022 and the release date for the film has not yet been announced.
