Teaser trailer and posters added for Netflix drama series “Doona!” starring Bae Suzy & Yang Se-Jong. The posters include two character posters and a teaser poster. Lee Jae-Wook & Jo Bo-Ah cast in Netflix drama series “Hong-Rang”

Lee Jae-Wook & Jo Bo-Ah are cast for lead roles in Netflix drama series “Hong-Rang” (working title). The drama series is based on 2021 novel “Tangeum: Geumeul Samkida” by Jang Da-Hye and directed by Kim Hong-Sun (“Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area“). Also cast for major supporting character roles are Jung Ga-Ram, Uhm Ji-Won, Park Byung-Eun, & Kim Jae-Wook. The screenplay for “Hong-Rang” is set during the Joseon period and set within the mystery genre. Lee Jae-Wook will play mysterious figure Hong-Rang. He disappeared at the age of 8 and returns 12 years later. Jo Bo-Ah will play Hong-Rang’s stepsister Jae-Yi.

Ko Yoon-Jung cast in tvN drama “Someday Wise Resident Life”

Ko Yoon-Jung is cast for a lead role in new tvN drama series “Someday Wise Resident Life” (literal title). The drama series is a spin-off from “Hospital Playlist” and “Hospital Playlist 2.” While those two drama series were set Yulje Medical Center, the spin-off drama series will be set at its branch hospital Jongno Yulje Medical Center. Ko Yoon-Jung will play a first year OB-GYN resident in the drama series. Director Shin Won-Ho and Screenwriter Lee Woo-Jung, who worked together in the first two seasons of “Hospital Playlist,” will participate in “Someday Wise Resident Life” as show creators.

“Someday Wise Resident Life” will air sometime during the first half of 2024 in South Korea.

Han Ji-Eun cast in TVING drama “Study Group”

Han Ji-Eun is cast for the lead female role in TVING drama series “Study Group” co-starring Minhyun. Also cast for major supporting characters are Cha Woo-Min, Lee Jong-Hyun, Shin Soo-Hyun, Yun Sang-Jeong, and Gong Do-Yu. The drama series is based on webcomic “Study Group” by Shin Hyeong-Wook & Yoo Seung-Yeon. Actress Han Ji-Eun will play Lee Han-Kyung in “Study Group.” She is a teacher and dreams of bringing about change at school. She has a secret and begins working at Yoosung Vocation High School. That is a bit of an oddity in of itself as she scored at the top during her teacher exams. Meanwhile, Cha Woo-Min will play Pi Han-Wool. His character is the villain in the story and the most powerful student at his school The other 4 announced actors will play members of Yoon Ga-Min’s study group.

“Study Group” will be released sometime next year in South Korea.

Main trailer and poster added for ENA-Genie TV drama series “Evilive” starring Shin Ha-Kyun & Kim Young-Kwang. The main trailer shows Lawyer Han Dong-Soo (Shin Ha-Kyun) meeting Seo Do-Young (Kim Young-Kwang) for the first time in prison. Seo Do-Young is the #2 ranked guy in a crime organization and he makes an irresistible offer to Han Dong-Soo. Lee Joon-Hyuk cast in TVING drama”Good or Bad Dong-Jae”

Lee Joon-Hyuk is cast in TVING spin-off drama series “Good or Bad Dong-Jae” (literal title). Lee Joon-Hyuk will reprise his character of Prosecutor Seo Dong-Jae from 2017 tvN drama series “Stranger” and 2020 tvN sequel drama series “Stranger 2.” Lee Soo-Yeon, who wrote the screenplays for the two seasons of “Stranger,” will take part on the series “Good or Bad Dong-Jae” as a creator. The character of Seo Dong-Jae is an ambitious person, who also has empathy at times for troubled people.

“Good or Bad Dong-Jae” will be released via TVING sometime next year in South Korea.

The drama series is based on web novel “Jokokin Naega Godeunghaksaengyi Dweeotseummida” by Horol. The drama series follows the #2 ranked gang member who switches bodies with a bullied teen. Filming for the drama series is currently underway.

Pyo Ye-Jin & Lee Jun-Young are cast in TVING drama series “I Openly Dream of Cinderella” (literal title). The drama series is setup as a romantic-comedy between a rich arrogant man who lacks trust in women and a woman hoping to find a Cinderella like love. Pyo Ye-Jin will play Moon Cha-Min. She begins working for a social club in hopes of finding her Prince Charming. Lee Jun-Young will play Shin Jae-Rim. He is the CEO of the social club.

“I Openly Dream of Cinderella” will be released sometime next year in South Korea.

Teaser poster and air date set for MBC drama “My Dearest Part 2”

Teaser poster and ep.1 air date set for MBC drama series “My Dearest Part 2” starring Namkoong Min and Ahn Eun-Jin. The drama series follows the 10 episode “My Dearest” that finished airing September 2, 2023. As ep.10 finished with a heartbreaking parting between Lee Jang-Hyun (Namkoong Min) and Yoo Gil-Chae (Ahn Eun-Jin), “My Dearest Part 2” will show big changes and different backgrounds for these two people. Filming for “My Dearest Part 2” is currently ongoing.
