Here’s a main poster and three character posters for upcoming tvN drama series “Chicago Typewriter” starring Yoo Ah-In, Lim Soo-Jung & Ko Gyung-Pyo. Story for the drama series follows writers who are reincarnated into the present day from the 1930’s.

Yeon Woo-Jin and Park Min-Young are cast for the lead roles in upcoming KBS2 drama series “Seven Day Queen.” In the drama series, Yeon Woo-Jin will play Prince Jinsung. He removes his older brother from the throne to become the King. Park Min-Young will play Lady Shin who is the wife of Prince Jinsung. She becomes the Queen after her husband takes the throne, but, 7 days later, she is removed as the Queen and expelled from the palace. This is because her father opposed Prince Jinsung becoming the King. Meanwhile, Jin Goo is still considering an offer to play older brother Yeonsan-gun (the former King removed by Prince Jinsung).
“Seven Day Queen” first airs May 31, 2017 in South Korea.
Seo Kang-Joon has been offered the lead role in new KBS2 drama series “Are You Human Too?” (literal title). If he accepts the offer, Seo Kang-Joon will play Namshin-Ⅲ. His character is an android and a swindler. Namshin-Ⅲ possesses a perfect appearance and smart artificial intelligence.
Air date has not yet been decided for the drama series.
Lim Soo-Hyang & Do Ji-Han are cast in new weekday evening KBS1 drama series “The Rose of Sharon has Bloomed” (literal title). Actress Nam Bo-Ra has been offered a major supporting character role and she is considering the offer positively. Story for the drama series is set around a police precinct office and both Lim Soo-Hyang and Do Ji-Han will play police officers.
“The Rose of Sharon has Bloomed” first airs May, 2017 in South Korea (takes over KBS1’s Monday-Friday 8:25PM time slot after “The Shining Eun-Soo“).

Ji Hyun-Woo and Kim Ji-Hoon are now cast in upcoming MBC drama series “Bad Thief, Good Thief” co-starring Seohyun (‘Girls’ Generation’). In the upcoming drama series, Ji Hyun-Woo will play lead male character Jang Dol-Mok. His character is scripted as a mysterious thief. During the day, he runs an office which does pretty much anything for clients and at night, he steals from those who have power. Kim Ji-Hoon will play major supporting character Han Joon-Hee. His character is scripted as an ambitious public prosecutor.
“Bad Thief, Good Thief” first airs May, 2017 in South Korea.
Actress Ku Hye-Sun has dropped out of currently airing MBC drama series “You Are Too Much” due to a serious medical condition. Recently, while on the filming set, Ku Hye-Sun experienced dizziness and difficulty in breathing and was sent to the hospital emergency room. She was diagnosed with a serious allergic reaction aka Anaphylaxis which sometimes can even be fatal. Ku Hye-Sun is currently hospitalized and will undergo long term treatment, along with rest. Consequently, on March 23, 2017, she informed the production of “You Are Too Much” that she has to quit the drama series. The drama series team has cast Jang Hee-Jin to play Ku Hye-Sun’s character.

Cha Tae-Hyun is set to direct for the first time & play a major supporting character in KBS2 drama series “The Best Hit” starring Yoon Si-Yoon & Kim Min-Jae. Directing duties for the drama series will be shared between Cha Tae-Hyun and Yoo Ho-Jin.
A strong connection exists between popular KBS2 reality-variety show “2 Days & 1 Night” and KBS2 drama series “The Best Hit.” Yoo Ho-Jin is a former director in “2 Days & 1 Night” and Cha Tae-Hyun and Yoon Si-Yoon are regular cast members in “2 Days & 1 Night.” In addition to directing, Cha Tae-Hyun will play supporting character Lee Gwang-Jae in drama series “The Best Hit.” His character is the CEO of a small entertainment company.
