Rena Tanaka and Yuta Furukawa are cast NTV-YTV drama series “Shinai Naru Otto e.” The suspense filled screenplay is written by Erika Toyama (“Forbidden to Love“). In “Shinai Naru Otto e,” Rena Tanaka and Yuta Furukawa will play a married couple. What the public doesn’t know about their marriage, is that the wife Maiko Sakai is obsessed with her husband Yuichi Sakai and controlling over him. Maiko Sakai mysteriously dies the day after Yuichi Sakai asks for a divorce. Yuichi Sakai investigates her death.

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Maiko Sakai (Rena Tanaka) is married to Yuichi Sakai (Yuta Furukawa). Maiko Sakai is a successful CEO and Yuichi Sakai is an announcer for a daytime information program. While supporting her husband Yuichi Sakai, Maiko Sakai is seen as a perfect wife, but they have a secret that nobody else knows about. Their secret is that Maiko Sakai is obsessive over her husband and justifies her actions by thinking that everything is for her husband. Yuichi Sakai feels suffocated by his wife and does not want to live with her anymore. One day, Yuichi Sakai asks for a divorce, but his request is simply dismissed by Maiko Sakai. The next day, Maiko Sakai suddenly meets a mysterious death. Yuichi Sakai investigates the truth behind her death and uncovers hidden lies.
