Kim Ji-Soo (Blackpink) and Seo In-Guk are cast for lead roles in Netflix drama series “Boyfriend on Demand” (working title). The drama series is a romantic-comedy directed by Kim Jung-Sik (“No Gain No Love“). Kim Ji-Soo and Seo In-Guk will webtoon producers who work for the same company and are rivals. Kim Ji-Soo’s character Seo Mi-Rae is busy career woman and doesn’t have time for romance. Things change for her when she experiences a virtual reality device that allows her to meet beyond perfect men.

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Seo Mi-Rae (Kim Ji-Soo) works as a webtoon PD. She is used to living without a boyfriend, because of her busy and exhausting daily life. She enters the virtual world through a Monthly Issue Boyfriend device that she happened to receive. There, she experiences super strong dopamine by having romance with unrealistically perfect men in the virtual world. This awakens Seo Mi-Rae’s love cells, which were lying dormant for a long time. Meanwhile, she has a rival, Park Kyeong-Nam (Seo In-Guk), at her workplace. He also works as webtoon PD. To Seo Mi-Rae, he is the most uncomfortable person to be around, but he is known as a good worker. He seems indifferent and a bit selfish, while he also carries some secrets.
