First teaser trailer and two teaser posters added for tvN drama series “The Potato Lab” (English title) starring Lee Sun-Bin and Kang Tae-Oh. For actor Kang Tae-Oh, “The Potato Lab” is his first acting role since he finished his mandatory military service on March 19, 2024. Caption on the teaser posters states “This man rolled into my research subject, which was nothing but potatoes.”
“The Potato Lab” will first air March 1, 2025 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Saturday and Sunday 9:20 PM time slot after “When the Stars Gossip“).
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Kim Mi-Kyeong (Lee Sun-Bin) is a researcher at the Potato Research Institute in a mountain valley. She has been working at the institute for 12 years and she is serious about her work. Her life is simple, but things change after So Baek-Ho (Kang Tae-Oh) appears at the Potato Research Institute. So Baek-Ho has a good looking appearance with a bright smile, but he can be a cold-blooded capitalist. Kim Mi-Kyeong and So Baek-Ho don’t get along and they have conflicts on pretty much everything.
