Lee Min-Jung & Kim Ji-Suk are cast in drama series “Yeah, Let’s Get a Divorce” (literal title). For actress Lee Min-Jung, this is her first starring role in a drama series since 2020 KBS2 drama “Once Again.” The two leads will play a married couple who also run a company together. They then go through a divorce, while trying to save their company from bankruptcy.
“Yeah, Let’s Get a Divorce” will air sometime in the first half of next year in South Korea.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Influenced by seeing her father run a tailor shop, Baek Mi-Young (Lee Min-Jung) dreamed of becoming a tailor. After her parents’ sudden death in an accident, she became even more focused on her job at a wedding gown shop where she was employed. She then met designer Ji Won-Ho (Kim Ji-Suk), who worked at the same company. He fell in love with her at first sight. After 6 months of dating, he asked her to marry him and she said yes. They then started the company G&White together. Their marriage life went smoothly without any major crisis initially, but an incident took place during their 4th year of marriage. This caused a crisis in their marriage. Now, they are in their 7th year of marriage and their company G&White is on the verge of bankruptcy. Baek Mi-Young struggles to protect their company and, at the same time, she asks for a divorce from Ji Won-Ho.
