Lee Min-Ki cast in KBS2 drama “Face Me”

Lee Min-Ki is cast in KBS2 drama series “Face Me” co-starring Han Ji-Hyun. The drama series will have Lee Min-Ki play a plastic surgeon, who is also specialist in emergency medicine. He begins to work Lee Min-Hyung (Han Ji-Hyun), who is a detective in the violent crime department. They collaborate to help victims. Also cast for major supporting character roles in the series are Lee Yi-Kyung and Jeon Bae-Su.

“Face Me” will first air November, 2024 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Wednesday and Thursday 9:50 PM time slot after “Dog Knows Everything.”

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: A plastic surgeon and a detective form a unique bond as they work on cases together.

Cha Jung-Woo (Lee Min-Ki) is a top plastic surgeon with an attractive appearance and elite skills. He has experience in both plastic surgery and emergency medicine. When he sees a patient’s injury, he can quickly visualize the circumstances of the accident and the treatment method necessary. He is also cold with patients and does not usually connect emotionally with them. He gradually changes when he meets Detective Lee Min-Hyung (Han Ji-Hyun).

Lee Min-Hyung is detective who works in the violent crimes department. She is fearless, confident, and empathetic to victims. She is also passionate about catching criminals. She meets Cha Jung-Woo, who suddenly volunteers to support crime victims. She gets close to him and begins to understand the wound held deep in his mind that he has never revealed to anyone. Other people around Cha Jung-Woo include Plastic Surgeon Han Woo-Jin (Lee Yi-Kyung), who is his friend, and Plastic Surgeon Kim Seok-Hoon (Jeon Bae-Su), who is his mentor.
