Bae In-Hyuk, Kim Ji-Eun, Jung Gun-Joo, & Jae Chan are cast in Channel A drama series “Check-in Hanyang.” Drama series will be directed by Myung Hyun-Woo (“The 3rd Hospital“). Story for “Check-in Hanyang” is set during the Joseon period and has the four leads playing interns at the nation’s largest guesthouse. The story develops as a coming of age story with romance.
Filming for “Check-in Hanyang” will begin soon, but airing date has not yet been decided.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Yongcheonru is the grandest guesthouse in Joseon. Their motto is that the customer is the king. Yeongcheonru has four new interns and they have their own reasons why they work there.
Lee Eun (Bae In-Hyuk) is actually a Joseon prince, but he hides his identity and begins to work at Yongcheonru as an intern using the alias of Lee Eun-Ho. Hong Deok-Soo (Kim Ji-Eun) is a woman, but she disguises herself as a man. Her goal is to become the general manager of Yongcheonru and starts working there as an intern. Cheon Joon-Hwa (Jung Gun-Joo) is the successor of Yongcheonru. He doesn’t have any interest in running Yongcheonru, but he is forced to work as an intern there by his father. Go Soo-Ra’s (Jae Chan) family has been on the decline for a while now. In order to rebuild his family, he begins to work as an intern at Yongcheonru. His goal is to be promoted to an employee permanently. While working at Yongcheonru, these 4 interns share experiences and become friends.
