Kim Nam-Gil, Lee Ha-Nee, Kim Sung-Kyun, and Bibi are cast in sequel SBS drama series “The Fiery Priest 2.” The drama series is a sequel to popular 2019 SBS drama series “The Fiery Priest,” which received TV ratings up to 24.7%. Kim Nam-Gil, Lee Ha-Nee, Kim Sung-Kyun will reprise their roles of hot tempered Priest Kim Hae-Il, Prosecutor Park Kyung-Sun, and Detective Gu Dae-Young. Singer-actress Bibi will play new character Gu Ja-Young. She works as a detective on an anti-drug team in Busan.
“The Fiery Priest 2” will first air sometime in the second half of this year in South Korea.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Kim Hae-Il (Kim Nam-Gil) is a hot-tempered Catholic priest with a burning sense of justice. He heads to Busan to pursue a drug case which originated in Gudam-district, Seoul. Helping him in his pursuit are Prosecutor Park Kyung-Sun (Lee Ha-Nee), Detective Gu Dae-Young (Kim Sung-Kyun) from Gudam Police Station, and Detective Gu Ja-Young (Bibi) from Busan.
