Actress Go Ara is cast for the lead female role in TVING drama series “Chunhwa Love Story” (literal title) co-starring Chang Ryul. She replaces actresses Ko Ah-Sung who was first cast to play the lead female character role, but had to drop out due to an injury she suffered in her personal time. Filming for the drama series was already underway when Ko Ah-Sung suffered a vertebra fracture. Filming will soon resume with Go Ara playing the lead character of Princess Hwari, who is in search of her future husband.
“Chunhwa Love Story” will be available to stream sometime next year in South Korea.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Set in the fictional country of Dongbangguk. Hwari (Go Ara) is youngest princess of the royal family. She grew up with an independent mindset. When she reaches the age to marry, she decides to find her husband by herself. She comes out of the palace to meet her suitors. She also tries to find the person who painted her face as the main female character in a series of erotic chunhwa paintings.
Meanwhile, Choi Hwan (Chang Ryul) is first on the list of potential husbands for Princess Hwari. He is the wealthiest merchant and possesses a handsome appearance. He looks like a man who enjoys women and money, but he seems to hide a secret.
