Minhyun (NU’EST) is cast for the lead role in TVING drama series “Study Group.” Currently, Minhyun is starring in tVN drama series “My Lovely Liar” with Kim So-Hyun. For “Study Group.” Minhyun will play Yoon Ga-Min. He forms a study group at his notorious technical high school. The drama series is based on on webcomic “Study Group” by Shin Hyeong-Wook & Yoo Seung-Yeon.
Filming for “Study Group” will begin in the second half of this year.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Yoon Ga-Min (Minhyun) is a student at a notorious vocational high school with many troubled students. He has the appearance of a model student with glasses, neat appearance, and innocent looks. He wants to do well academically, but his scores are always at the near bottom of the school. What he he lacks in book smarts, he makes up for in strength and fighting skills. To help improve his grades, he forms a study group. Whenever the members of his study group are in trouble, Yoon Ga-Min fights for them to keep his study group.
