Kim Nam-Joo is cast for the lead role in new drama series “Wonderful World.” For Kim Nam-Joo, “Wonderful World” will be her first acting role since 2018 JTBC drama series “Misty.” “Wonderful World” will be directed by Lee Seung-Young (“Tracer“/”Voice 2“) and scripted by Kim Ji-Eun (“Lie After Lie“). Actors Cha Eun-Woo and Kim Kang-Woo have been offered major supporting characters roles and they are currently considering their offers. The drama series is setup as a healing story of people who were harmed by crimes.
“Wonderful World” is expected to air sometime in the first half of 2024 in South Korea.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Eun Soo-Hyun (Kim Nam-Joo) is a psychology professor and a famous writer, but her life is completely changed. Her young son dies unjustly. Making things worse, the person responsible for her son’s death isn’t punished by the law. Eun Soo-Hyun loses hope with this world. She decides to punish the person responsible for her son’s death by herself. Her life is still in pain and despair. Somehow, Eun Soo-Hyun gets involved with other people who suffer from similar pain as her and solves their mysterious cases. They slowly get healed in the process.
