Shingo Katori cast in Fuji TV drama “Japan’s Saitei Man”

Shingo Katori is cast in Fuji TV drama series “Japan’s Saitei Man.” The drama series features an original screenplay and will be directed by Takuro Oikawa (“Attorney Sodom“). Takuro Oikawa and Shingo Katori previously worked together for 2021 TV Tokyo drama series “Anonymous.” For “Japan’s Saitei Man,” Shingo Katori will play opportunistic Ippei Omori. He brings his ex-brother-in-law and his two children into his home for his own reasons.

“Japan’s Saitei Man” will first air January, 2025 in Japan (takes over Fuji TV’s 10 PM time slot after “My Precious“).

Trailer added for movie “Inu mo Kuwane do Charlie wa Warau” starring Shingo Katori & Yukino Kish. The romantic-comedy film revolves around a married couple of 4 years. The husband discovers that his wife uses the website “Husband Death Note.” Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been revealed as “Kokoronomamani” by Never Young Beach. The track is also played during the trailer.

Shingo Katori and Yukino Kishii are cast in movie “Inu mo Kuwane do Charlie wa Warau.” Movie is scripted and directed by Masahide Ichii (“Blindly in Love“). In the comedy movie, Shingo Katori and Yukino Kishii will play a married couple. They seem to be in a happy marriage, but the wife makes sinister posts about her husband on a social media page.

Filming took place from late September – late October, 2021 in Tokyo and Saitama. “Inu mo Kuwane do Charlie wa Warau” will be released September, 2022 in Japan.

Shingo Katori cast in movie “Nagi Machi”

Shingo Katori (former member of ‘SMAP’) is cast in movie “Nagi Machi.” The film is directed by Kazuya Shiraishi (“The Devil’s Path“) and the screenplay by Masato Kato. In the film, Shingo Katori will play a man who loses his job and moves to the hometown of his live-in partner. Small troubles build up there. Filming for “Nagi Machi” began middle of last month and will finish the middle of this month.

“Nagi Machi” will be released sometime in 2019 in Japan.

Shingo Katori, Juri Ueno, Toshiyuki Nishida & Jun Fubuki cast in TBS drama “Kazoku no Katachi”

Shingo Katori (‘SMAP’), Juri Ueno, Toshiyuki Nishida & Jun Fubuki are cast in new TBS drama series “Kazoku no Katachi.” The drama series is directed by Shunichi Hirano (“S: The Last Policeman“) and screenplay by Noriko Goto (“Glory of Team Batista“).

In drama series “Kazoku no Katachi,” Shingo Katori plays Daisuke Nagasato. His character is 39-years-old and enjoys being single. His neighbor is Hanako Kumagai (Juri Ueno). Daisuke Nagasato’s single life is threatened when his father (Toshiyuki Nishida) and step-brother move in.

“Kazoku no Katachi” will first air this January in Japan.
