Hiroki Hasegawa & Masaki Okada cast in TBS drama series “Small Giant”

Hiroki Hasegawa & Masaki Okada are cast in new TBS drama series “Small Giant” (“Chiisana Kyojin”). Also cast in supporting roles are Ken Yasuda, Shota Shunputei, Taro Suruga, Toru Tezuka & Katsumi Kiba. In the drama series, Hiroki Hasegawa will play Shinichiro Kosaka. He works as a detective at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. He makes a mistake though and gets demoted to a police station. There, he finds detectives that may have less skills, but work earnestly to solve even the simple cases.

“Small Giant” first airs April, 2017 in Japan.

Masami Nagasawa, Ryuhei Matsuda & Hiroki Hasegawa cast in movie “Strolling Invader”

Masami Nagasawa, Ryuhei Matsuda & Hiroki Hasegawa are cast in movie “Strolling Invader” directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa. The movie is based on the stage play “Sanpo Suru Shinryakusha” written and directed by Tomohiro Maekawa. Premise for the film deals with a husband played by Ryuhei Matsuda whose body is taken over by an alien conducting research before an invasion.

“Strolling Invader” will be released September 16, 2017 in Japan.

Main trailer for movie “Godzilla Resurgence”

Main trailer added for upcoming movie “Godzilla Resurgence” starring Hiroki Hasegawa, Yutaka Takenouchi & Satomi Ishihara. Movie is directed by Shinji Higuchi (“Attack on Titan“). The film has also announced 325 more cast members with notable performers like Kengo Kora, Ren Osugi, Akira Emoto, Mikako Ichikawa, Kimiko Yo, Jun Kunimura, Pierre Taki, Takumi Saito, Arata Furuta, Atsuko Maeda, Takahiro Miura, Shinya Tsukamoto & Suzuki Matsuo all set to appear in the film. The main trailer also displays Godzilla’s full body for the first time.

“Godzilla Resurgence” stomps its way to the Japanese box-office beginning July 29, 2016.

First teaser trailer and teaser posters added for upcoming kaiju film “Godzilla Resurgence” starring Hiroki Hasegawa, Yutaka Takenouchi & Satomi Ishihara. Movie is directed by Shinji Higuchi who is no stranger to movies featuring large creatures as his prior two directed films were “Attack on Titan” and “Attack on Titan: End of the World.” Screenplay is handled by Hideaki Anno (“Evangelion“/”Cutie Honey“). The Godzilla featured in movie “Godzilla Resurgence” is the tallest Godzilla yet, estimated at about 118.5 meters (388 feet).

Release date for “Godzilla Resurgence” is now set for July 29, 2016 in Japan.

New poster and main trailer for upcoming movie “Sailor Suit and Machine Gun: Graduation” (literal title) starring Kanna Hashimoto, Hiroki Hasegawa & Masanobu Ando. Movie is based on 1978 novel “Sera Fuku to Kikanju” by Jiro Akagawa and directed by Koji Maeda (“Cannonball Wedlock”/”My Hawaiian Discovery”).

“Sailor Suit and Machine Gun: Graduation” will be released March 5, 2016 in Japan.
