Minho & Do Ji-Han cast in KBS2 drama series “Hwarang: The Beginning”

Minho from idol group ‘SHINee’ and Do Ji-Han are cast in supporting roles for upcoming KBS2 drama series “Hwarang: The Beginning.” The drama series stars Park Seo-Joon, Go Ara  and Park Hyung-Sik (‘ZE:A’).

In drama series “Hwarang: The Beginning,” Minho will play Soo-Ho. He is the successor of a noble family. Soo-Ho has a strong sense of justice and leadership abilities. He also has a bright and positive personality. Meanwhile, Do Ji-Han will play Ban-Ryoo. His character also comes from a noble family. He is smart and proud of himself.

Filming for “Hwarang: The Beginning” will begin in the first half of this year and the drama series will air sometime in the second half of this year in South Korea.

Filming begins first half, 2016 and airs second half, 2016.

Kim Nam-Gil cast in movie “My Angel”

Actor Kim Nam-Gil is cast in new romance film “My Angel” directed by Lee Yoon-Ki. Director Lee Yoon-Ki has paired such powerhouse performers as Jeon Do-Yeon and Ha Jung-Woo in 2008 film “My Dear Enemy,” Hyun-Bin and Lim Soo-Jung in 2011 film “Come Rain Come Shine” and Jeon Do-Yeon and Gong Yoo in upcoming film “A Man and A Woman.” For the lead female role in “My Angel” actress Chun Woo-Hee has been offered the role and she is currently “positively considering” the offer.

In movie “My Angel,” Kim Nam-Gil plays an insurance examiner who meets a woman in a vegetative state. His character witnessed his late wife take her own life.

Filming for “My Angel” will begin sometime this March in South Korea.

Teaser trailer & poster for live-action film “HK: Forbidden Super Hero The Abnormal Crisis”

Teaser trailer & poster added for live-action sequel film “HK: Forbidden Super Hero The Abnormal Crisis” starring Ryohei Suzuki, Fumika Shimizu & Yuya Yagira. Movie is based on manga series “The Abnormal Super Hero Hentai Kamen” by Keishu Ando and directed again by Yuichi Fukuda.

In “HK: Forbidden Super Hero The Abnormal Crisis,” Ryohei Suzuki plays Kyosuke Shikijo aka Pervert Mask. He first came across his unique power,s when he saw the girl that he loved played by Fumika Shimizu in a hostage situation and went in to save her. To conceal his identity, he slipped over his face the first thing he saw which was her panties. The sequel film has Kyosuke Shikijo going up against his biggest foe yet.

“HK: Forbidden Super Hero The Abnormal Crisis” will be released May 14, 2016 in Japan.

Teaser poster for movie “Life Risking Romance”

Here’s the first teaser poster for upcoming romantic-comedy film “Life Risking Romance” starring Ha Ji-Won, Chun Jung-Myung & Chen Bolin. Movie features Ha Ji-Won playing a mystery novel writer who chases after a serial killer with a detective/friend played by Chun Jung-Myung. A mysterious man then appears played by Taiwanese actor Chen Bolin.

“Life Risking Romance” is now slotted for release sometime this April in South Korea.

Rena Matsui & Kenichi Takito cast in TBS drama series “Laundry Chigasaki”

Rena Matsui (former member of SKE48) and Kenichi Takito are cast in late night TBS drama series “Laundry Chigasaki.” Premise for the drama series is set at a laundromat with Rena Matsui playing a part-time employee there and Keichi Takito playing the owner of the laundromat. The drama series is directed and written by Ken Iizuka (“Arakawa Under the Bridge“).

“Laundry Chigasaki” first airs March 13, 2016 in Japan.

Singer-songwriter Sakura Fujiwara cast in Fuji TV drama series “Love Song”

Singer-songwriter Sakura Fujiwara is cast in her first acting role as the lead female character in upcoming Fuji TV drama series “Love Song” also starring Masaharu Fukuyama. Sakura Fujiwara made her major label record debut on March 18, 2015 with her mini album “à la carte.”

Sakura Fujiwara received the lead female role of Sakura Sano through an audition which had about 100 other participants. Also cast in supporting roles for the drama series are Kaho, Tetsushi Tanaka, Ryudo Uzaki & Miki Mizuno. Kaho will play Mami who is like Sakura Sano’s (Sakura Fujiwara) older sister. She works at a cabaret club.

“Love Song” first airs April, 2016 in Japan.
