Hayato Ichihara & Chiaki Kuriyama are cast in upcoming TV Asahi drama series “Fukigen na Kajitsu.” The drama series is based on novel”Fukigen na Kajitsu” by Mariko Hayashi. In the drama series, Chiaki Kuriyama plays a 32-years-old housewife displease with her husband’s indifference to her. She then meets a music critic played by Hayato Ichihara and they fall into a forbidden love.
“Fukigen na Kajitsu” will first air this April in Japan.

First script reading for upcoming tvN drama series “Dear My Friends” starring Ko Hyun-Jung & Shin Sung-Woo took place February 2, 2016 at CJ E&M Center in Sangamdong, Seoul, South Korea. At the first script, main cast members attended as well special guest actors Zo In-Sung & Lee Kwang-Soo. Zo In-Sung & Lee Kwang-Soo worked with screenwriter No Hee-Kyung previously in 2014 SBS drama series “It’s Ok, This is Love.”
Filming for drama series began February 24, 2016. Filming will shoot on location in Slovenia and Croatia for one week from March 3, 2016. Only Ko Hyun-Jung and Zo In-Sung will take part in filming in those locations.
“Dear My Friends” first airs this May in South Korea.
Yutaka Takenouchi & Yasuko Matsuyuki are cast in new TV Asahi drama series “Good Partner: Muteki no Bengoshi.” For actor Yutaka Takenouchi, he last starred in a TV Asahi drama series back in 2006 with “Kazoku.” Also cast in supporting roles for the drama series are Kento Kaku, Ikusaburo Yamazaki, Tetta Sugimoto, Azusa Babazono, Azusa Okamoto, Masako Miyaji, Karen Miyazaki, Koji Ookura and Jun Kunimura.
Premise for the drama series “Good Partner: Muteki no Bengoshi,” has Yutaka Takenouchi and Yasuko Matsuyuki playing a divorced couple who work at the same corporate law firm. “Good Partner: Muteki no Bengoshi” first airs this April in Japan.
Actress Ema Fujisawa is set to make a guest appearance in currently airing WOWOW drama series “Kinpika” starring Kiichi Nakai, Pierre Taki & Yusuke Santamaria. Ema Fujisawa will make her guest appearance in episode 3 of the drama series.
In the drama series, Ema Fujisawa will play Akemi. Her character works at a hostess bar and is the ex-girlfriend of Isao Okawara (Pierre Taki). Ema Fujisawa’s role is a bit of a departure from her past roles of playing sweet, nice girls.
Ep.3 of “Kinpika” airs February 27, 2016 in Japan.

Actor Yoo Ah-In is set to make a cameo appearance in currently airing KBS2 drama series “Descendants of the Sun” starring Song Joong-Ki, Song Hye-Kyo, Jin Goo & Kim Ji-Won.
Filming for Yoo Ah-In’s cameo scene took place December, 2015. It’s not yet known what episode his cameo will appear in. Yoo Ah-In did the cameo partly due to his friendship with Song Joong-Ki (they performed together KBS2 drama “Sungkyunkwan Scandal“) and Song Hye-Kyo works under the same management company UAA.
Actress Shin Yoon-Joo is cast for the main character role in upcoming KBS2 drama series “Babysitter” also starring Kim Min-Jun and Cho Yeo-Jeong. This is Shin Yoon-Joo’s first role in a drama series, her debut acting role was in 2016 movie “Dongju: The Portrait of a Poet.”
In drama series “Babysitter,” Shin Yoon-Joo will play Jang Suk-Ryoo. Her character is an attractive young woman and graduated from a prestigious university. She works as a babysitter, taking care of three children from wealthy couple Lee Sang-Won (Kim Min-Jun) and Chun Eun-Joo (Cho Yeo-Jeong).
“Babysitter” first airs March 14, 2016 in South Korea.
Jun Matsumoto (‘Arashi’) is cast in upcoming TBS drama series “99.9: Keiji Senmon Bengoshi.” Also cast in the law themed drama series are Teruyuki Kagawa, Nana Eikura and Munetaka Aoki. Setup for the drama series has Jun Matsumoto playing a poor criminal attorney. With Japan’s 99.9% conviction rate, the attorney fights for the 0.1%. The attorney then gets scouted by a big law firm and works with an attorney played by Teruyuki Kagawa.
“99.9: Keiji Senmon Bengoshi” first airs April 17, 2016 in Japan.
Lee Kwang-Soo is set to make a special guest appearance in upcoming KBS2 drama series “Hwarang: The Beginning.” The drama series features already announced cast members Park Seo-Joon, Go Ara, Park Hyung-Sik (‘ZE:A’), Minho (‘SHINee’), Do Ji-Han & V (‘BTS’). Lee Kwang-Soo will appear in the early stages of the drama series, but his exact role has not yet been revealed.
