Actor Cho Seung-Woo has been offered the lead role in upcoming tvN drama series “Pied Piper.” If he accepts the offer, Cho Seung-Woo will play Joo Sung-Chan. His character formally worked as a corporate negotiator, but now works as a negotiator at a police crisis negotiation team. The drama series will follow the police crisis negotiation team as they try to solve cases without using force. The drama series will be directed by Kim Hong-Sun and scripted by Ryoo Yong-Jae whom previously worked together in 2014 tvN drama series “Liar Game.” Cho Seung-Woo is currently “positively considering” the offer.
“Pied Piper” will first air March, 2016 in South Korea (taking over tvN’s Monday & Tuesday 11PM time slot after “Cheese in the Trap”).

Here’s the first character posters for upcoming romantic-comedy film “Mood of the Day” starring Moon Chae-Won & Yoo Yeon-Seok. Movie is directed by Jo Kyu-Jang (“A Camel Doesn’t Leave Desert“). The story for “Mood of the Day” involves two people who meet on the high speed KTX train in South Korea. They spend a day together in the port city of Busan.
“Mood of the Day” is now slotted for release sometime this January, 2016 in South Korea.
The 36th annual Blue Dragon Film Awards just concluded in South Korea earlier this evening. Second trailer added for upcoming film “Too Young To Die!” starring Tomoya Nagase, Ryunosuke Kamiki, Machiko Ono, Aoi Morikawa, Rie Miyazawa and Kenta Kiritani. The quirky comedy film is written and directed by Kankuro Kudo (“Brass Knuckle Boys“).
Story for “Too Young To Die!” revolves around a high school student (Ryunosuke Kamiki) who dies while on a school field trip and ends up in Hell. He then meets a rocker in Hell called Killer K (Tomoya Nagase). He receives training from Killer K to return to the human world and confess his love to a classmate.
“Too Young To Die!” will be released February 6, 2016 in Japan.
Filming for upcoming KBS2 drama series “Indiscreetly Fondly” starring Kim Woo-Bin and Bae Suzy (“Miss A”) began November 26, 2015 at Kyungnam University in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam Province, South Korea. The drama series will air sometime in the first half of 2016 and filming for the drama series will be completed before the drama series airs. The drama series follows the romance of of childhood friends who meet again as adults. One is a top entertainer (Kim Woo-Bin) and the other is a PD of documentaries (Bae Suzy).
First script reading for upcoming SBS weekday morning drama series “My Son-In-Law’s Woman” took place earlier this month at SBS Prism Tower in Sangam, South Korea. All main cast members including Seo Ha-Jun, Yang Jin-Sung, Lee Jae-Un, Jang Seung-Jo & Lee Si-Won attended.

More cast members has been revealed for upcoming live-action film “Himitsu The Top Secret” starring Toma Ikuta, Masaki Okada, Chiaki Kuriyama and Nao Omori. Supporting cast members now include Tori Matsuzaka, Kippei Shiina, Lily Franky, Koji Ookura, Haruka Kinami and Yusuke Hirayama.
In the live-action movie Tori Matsuzaka will play Katsuhiro Suzuki. His character has been friends with Tsuyoshi Maki (Toma Ikuta) since their college days. They started the 9th Forensics Laboratory. Kippei Shiina will play Koichi Tsuyuguchi. His character is a death-row convict, charged with killing his own family. Lily Franky will play Junichiro Saito. His character is a psychiatrist who is aware of Katsuhiro Suzuki’s past trauma. Lilly Franky’s character of Junichiro Saito is original to the movie and the only character in the film not found in the manga series.
Movie “Himitsu The Top Secret” is based on manga series”Himitsu – Toppu Shiikuretto” by Reiko Shimizu and directed by Keishi Ohtomo (“Rurouni Kenshin“). Release date for “Himitsu The Top Secret” is now set for August, 2016 in Japan.

Shooting for the teaser poster took place in October by a grove of birch trees in Inje, Gangwon Province, South Korea. Drama series follows students at an international school in South Korea.
“Moorim School” will first air January 11, 2016 in South Korea.
Main trailer added for upcoming film “Hotel Copain” starring Hayato Ichihara, Yoshimasa Kondo, Hikaru Osawa & Goki Maeda. Movie is directed by Naoto Monma and screenplay by Lion Hitoshizuku. Story for the film has Hayato Ichihara playing a former teacher who now works at a hotel. He quit his job after his inability to handle student bullying. A student of his committed suicide because of the bullying. Meanwhile, the hotel hosts a party for guests and the mother of the deceased student is there.
“Hotel Copain” will be released February 13, 2016 in Japan.
