Lee Soo-Hyuk cast in MBC drama series “Lucky Romance”

Lee Soo-Hyuk is cast in upcoming MBC drama series “Lucky Romance” starring Hwang Jung-Eum and Ryoo Joon-Yeol. Drama series is based on webcomic “Woonbbalromaenseu” by Kim Dal-Nim.

In drama series “Lucky Romance,” Lee Soo-Hyuk will play Choi Gun-Wook. His character is a famous tennis player. He moved to Canada as a child and now comes back to South Korea as a high ranked tennis player. Back when he was a child, he lived next door to Bo-Nui (Hwang Jung-Eu ). She is his first love.

“Lucky Romance” first airs May 11, 2016.

First script reading for KBS2 drama series “Hwarang: The Beginning”

First script reading took place for upcoming KBS2 drama series “Hwarang: The Beginning” at the beginning of March, 2016. Their were two script readings that took place in early March. Main cast members including Park Seo-Joon, Go Ara, Park Hyung-Sik (“ZE:A”), Minho (“SHINee”), Do Ji-Han, Jo Yoon-Woo, V (“BTS”) & Lee Kwang-Soo were all in attendance. Lee Kwang-Soo will make a special appearance in the drama series.

“Hwarang: The Beginning” will first air sometime during the second half of this year in South Korea.

Trailer for live-action movie “Moriyamachu Driving School”

Trailer added for live-action film “Moriyamachu Driving School” starring Shuhei Nomura & Kento Kaku. Movie is based on manga series “Moriyamachu Kyoshujo” by Keigo Shinzo and directed by Keisuke Toyoshima (“A Courtesan with Flowered Skin“). Story for the film has a high school student and a yakuza teen spending time at a driving school for the summer.

“Moriyamachu Driving School” will open July 9, 2016 in South Korea.

Park Gun-Hyung & Hong Eun-Hee cast in MBC drama series “Working Mom Parenting Daddy”

Park Gun-Hyung & Hong Eun-Hee are cast in weekday evening MBC drama series “Working Mom Parenting Daddy” (literal title). The drama series hasPark Gun-Hyung & Hong Eun-Hee playing husband and wife. After the wife becomes pregnant with their second child, the husband decides to take a maternity leave to take care of their child while the wife will work. Cast in supporting roles are Oh Jung-Yeon, Han Ji-Sang, Shin Eun-Jung & Kong Jung-Hwan.

Masaki Suda cast in live-action film “Teiichi’s Country” (literal title). Movie is based on manga series “Teiichi no Kuni” by Usamaru Furuya. Movie is set sometime during the show period with Masaki Suda playing high school student Teiichi Akaba. His character aspires to become the prime minister and build his own country. Before he becomes the prime minister, he targets becoming his high school’s student council president. The position of student president at his prestigious high school bestows further privileges which makes the election highly competitive and a power struggle occurs.

Here’s 7 character cuts and an early promotional poster for upcoming KBS2 drama series “Hwarang: The Beginning” (Korean English title) starring Park Seo-Joon, Go Ara, Park Hyung-Sik (“ZE:A”), Minho (“SHINee”), Do Ji-Han, Jo Yoon-Woo and V (“BTS”).

In “Hwarang: The Beginning,” Park Seo-Joon will play Moo-Myung. His character wants to live free and falls in love with A-Ro (Go Ara).

Go Ara’s A-Ro comes from a mixture of noble class and the lowest class. She possesses a bright personality. A-Ro falls into a love triangle with Moo-Myung and Sam Maek-Jong (Park Hyung-Sik).

Park Hyung-Sik’s Sam Maek-Jong is a powerless king who he has to hide himself. He does not trust anyone, but after he meets A-Ro he changes.

Minho will play Soo-Ho. His character is deeply in love with a woman he should not be in love with.

Do Ji-Han plays Ban-Ryoo. His character is ambitious and calculating.

Jo Yoon-Woo will play Yeo-Wool. His character is cynical.

V  will play Han-Sung. His character has a warm personality.

Here’s the first still images of Ji Sung & Kang Min-Hyuk in upcoming SBS drama series “Entertainer” also starring Hyeri.

The still images were taken recently in the port city of Busan, South Korea. Setup for this scene has Shin Suk-Ho (Ji Sung ) and Jo Ha-Neul (Kang Min-Hyuk) meeting for the first time. Shin Suk-Ho is the director of the largest entertainment company KTOP Entertainment. He tries to sign Jo Ha-Neul on the spot, but Jo Ha-Neul isn’t interested.
