Teaser trailer added for movie “Cooperation” (literal title) starring Hyun-Bin and Yu Hae-Jin. Movie follows a North Korean police officer (Hyun-Nin) and a South Korean police officer (Yu Hae-Jin) as they work together to take down a crime boss (Kim Ju-Hyeok).
“Cooperation” is now set for release sometime January, 2017 in South Korea.
Main trailer added for upcoming movie “Bros. Maxman” starring Ryo Ryusei, Rio Uchida & Yudai Chiba. Movie is a sequel to 2015 film “Mr. Maxman” which starred Yudai Chiba. Sequel film “Bros. Maxman” has Ryo Ryusei playing the younger brother of Masayoshi Taniguchi from the first film.
“Bros. Maxman” will be released January 7, 2017.
Teaser trailer for live-action film “Itazurana Kiss The Movie: Campus” starring Kanta Sato & Reina Visa. Movie is part 2 in a planned three part trilogy. Part 1 of the trilogy – “Itazurana Kiss The Movie in High School” – opens today in Japan and part 2 is scheduled for release sometime January, 2017 in Japan. Part 3 – “Itazurana Kiss The Movie: Propose” will be released sometime later in 2017.

Here’s a character cut of Yudai Chiba in upcoming live-action film “Ani ni Aisaresugite Komattemasu” co-starring Tao Tsuchiya & Ryota Katayose. In the upcoming film, Yudai Chiba plays Takane Serikawa. He is a medical intern who gives biting remarks. He is also the first love of Setoka Tachibana (Tao Tsuchiya). After many years, he reappears in Setoka Tachibana’s life. “Ani ni Aisaresugite Komattemasu” is based on manga series “Ani ni Ai Saresugite Komattemasu” by Rina Yagami.
“Ani ni Aisaresugite Komattemasu” will be released sometime during summer, 2017 in Japan.
Ken Watanabe, Yumi Asou, Keiko Kitagawa and Fumi Nikaido are cast in new TBS drama SP “Shiawase no Kioku.” The four will play a family with Ken Watanabe playing the ex-husband Taro, Yumo Asou playing ex-wife Junko, Keiko Kitagawa playing older daughter Natsumi and Fumi Nikaido playing younger daughter Yuka. After Taro’s business goes under, he goes through a divorce and leaves his family’s home. 5 years later, he is in financial difficulties and suddenly moves back to the home he left.
“Shiawase no Kioku” airs January 8, 2017 in Japan.
Baek Sung-Hyun and Son Eun-Seo are cast in supporting roles for upcoming OCN drama series “Voice” starring Jang Hyuk & Lee Ha-Na. For the drama series, Baek Sung-Hyun will play Detective Sim Hyun-Ho. He trusts and helps Detective Moo Jin-Hyuk (Jang Hyuk). Son Eun-Seo will play Park Eun-Soo. She works at the 112 emergency call center. They join already cast Yesung (‘Super Junior’) to play major supporting characters in the drama series.
“Voice” first airs January 7, 2017 in South Korea.
L from idol group ‘INFINITE’ is cast in upcoming MBC drama “Ruler: Master of the Mask” starring Yoo Seung-Ho & Kim So-Hyun. In the drama series, L will play Lee Sun. He comes from the lower class, but he is intelligent. He learns how to read and write from Ga-Eun (Kim So-Hyun) and doubles for Crown Prince Lee Sun (Yoo Seung-Ho).
“Ruler: Master of the Mask” first airs sometime next year in South Korea.
Sadao Abe & Kyoko Fukada are cast in new TBS drama series “Gekokujo Juken.” The drama series is based on 2014 novel “Gekokujo Juken” by Shinichi Sakurai which is based on the author’s own true story.
In drama series “Gekokujo Juken,” Sadao Abe & Kyoko Fukada play husband and wife Shinichi & Kanako Sakurai. They have one daughter played by Mikuu Yamada. Both Shinichi & Kanako Sakurai received only middle school level educations. When Shinichi sees his daughter’s low national test scores, he decides to help her prepare for her own middle school entrance exams.
“Gekokujo Juken” first airs January, 2017 in Japan.
Ayami Nakajo is cast in new live-action film “Anonymous Noise” (“Fukumenkei Noizu”). Movie is based on manga series “Fukumenkei Noizu” by Ryoko Fukuyama and directed by Koichiro Miki (“Evergreen Love“). In the movie “Anonymous Noise,” Ayami Nakajo plays high school freshman Nino Arisugawa. She has a talent as a singer. Nino Arisugawa is then reunited with two childhood friends that now attend the same high school as her. To play her character, Ayami Nakajo underwent voice training in August, 2016 and filming for the movie began November, 2016.
“Anonymous Noise” opens autumn, 2017 in Japan.
