TaecYeon (‘2PM’) and Kwon Yool are now cast in upcoming tvN drama series “Let’s Fight Ghost” also starring Kim So-Hyun. TaecYeon and Kwon Yool were previously offered starring roles and they have now accepted.
In “Let’s Fight Ghost,” TaecYeon will play Park Bong-Pal. He has the special ability to see and touch ghosts. He doesn’t like ghosts, but makes money as an exorcist – capitalizing on his special abilities. Park Bong-Pal is cynical, but also cute. He happens to meet high school student ghost Hyun-Ji (Kim So-Hyun). The two then perform exorcisms together. At first they bicker all the time, but later develop feelings for each other.
Kwon Yool will play Joo Hye-Sung. His character is a veterinarian and also a professor in veterinary medicine. He has a gentle and warm heart, but he also has a secret.

Teaser poster and supporting cast added for upcoming live-action film “Bittersweet” starring Haruna Kawaguchi & Kento Hayashi. Supporting cast members will include Yasushi Fuchikami, Hiyori Sakurada, Mackenyu, SU (‘RIP SLYME’), Hideo Nakano and Mako Ishino.
In addition, release date for “Bittersweet” is now set for September 10, 2016 in Japan.
Yoon Si-Yoon is set to make a cameo appearance in currently airing tvN drama series “Ms. Temper & Nam Jung-Gi” starring Lee Yo-Won and Yoon Sang-Hyun.
The production team from “Ms. Temper & Nam Jung-Gi” asked Yoon Si-Yoon to make a guest appearance which he accepted. Yoon Si-Yoon is starring in tvN’s followup drama series “Mirror of the Witch” which will premiere a week after the conclusion of “Ms. Temper & Nam Jung-Gi.” His cameo appearance will air in “Ms. Temper & Nam Jung-Gi”‘s final episode airing on May 7, 2016. Yoon Si-Yoon will film his cameo appearance today, May 3, 2016.
Actress Kim Hyun-Joo has been offered the lead female role in SBS drama series “Wanted.” Currently, Kim Hyun-Joo is “positively considering” the offer. If she accepts the offer, she will play a woman who is one of the top actresses in South Korea. Her son gets kidnapped and she takes on a mission in a reality TV show following the orders of her son’s kidnapper.
Drama series “Wanted” will air from June 15, 2016 in South Korea (takes over the SBS Wed. & Thurs. 10PM time slot from “Entertainer“).
Main trailer added for upcoming movie “Horror Stories III” starring Im Seul-Ong, Kyung Soo-Jin, Park Jung-Min & Hong Eun-Hee. Like its predecessors 2012 film “Horror Stories” and 2013 film “Horror Stories II,” “Horror Stories III” is set up as an omnibus film with 3 separate stories. This time around, the three stories are set in the past, present and future. Min Kyu-Dong will direct a segment that ties the three stories together.

Gang Ye-Won is cast in new 4 episode KBS2 drama series “Baek-Hee Has Returned” (literal title). In addition, teen actress Jin Ji-Hee is currently considering an offer to play a major supporting character in the drama series. For the upcoming drama series, Gang Ye-Won will play a woman who returns to a quiet island after 18 years. She appears there under a new identity.
“Baek-Hee Has Returned” will first air June 6, 2016 (takes over the KBS2 Monday and Tuesday 10PM time slot from “My Lawyer, Mr. Jo“).
Teaser trailer for live-action film “Cutie Honey: Tears” starring Mariya Nishiuchi. In addition, supporting cast members have been revealed for the upcoming film which includes Takahiro Miura, Sousuke Takaoka, Tasuku Nagase & Ren Imai.
For Takahiro Miura he will play Seiji Hayami. His character was born from the lower floors, but now lives in the upper floors and works as a journalist. Sousuke Takaoka will play Kazuhito Uraki. His character is a resistance leader of the lower floors. He lost his wife and child due to an infectious disease caused by polluted rain. Tasuku Nagase will play Ryuta Kimura and Ren Imai will play Yukiko Kiyose. Both of their characters are members of the resistance.
Lastly, release date for “Cutie Honey: Tears” is now set for October 1, 2016 in Japan.
Ji Jin-Hee is cast in upcoming SBS drama series “Second To Last Love.” The drama series is a remake of 2012 Fuji TV drama series “Second To Last Love.”
In the drama series, Ji Jin-Hee will play Ko Sang-Sik. His character works as the section chief at an environment facility in city hall. He gets involved in a relationship with TV producer Kang Min-Joo. At first they don’t get along well, but develop romantic interest in each other.
“Second To Last Love” first airs this July in South Korea.
Osamu Mukai is cast in new TBS drama series “Kami no Shita wo Motsu Otoko.” Also cast in supporting roles are Fumino Kimura and Jiro Sato. The drama series will be set in various hot springs located in remote areas and unknown to most people. Osamu Mukai will play Ranmaru Tomonaga. His character is naive, cute and possessing a special ability. His special ability revolves around his tongue which can analyze things in certain ways including gas chromatography. Along with Hikaru (Fumino Kimura) and Kanji (Jiro Sato), Ranmaru Tomonaga drives around to remote hot springs in search of a hot spring geisha named “Miyabi.”
“Kami no Shita wo Motsu Otoko” first airs this July in Japan (Fridays at 10PM).
