Taishi Nakagawa & Marie Iitoyo cast in live-action film “Kyo no Kira-kun”

Taishi Nakagawa & Marie Iitoyo are cast in live-action film “Kyo no Kira-kun.” Movie is based on manga series “Kyo no Kira kun” by Rin Mikimoto and directed Yasuhiro Kawamura (“L-DK“). In live-action film “Kyo no Kira-kun,” Taishi Nakagawa & Marie Iitoyo play high school classmates who are also next door neighbors. Taishi Nakagawa’s character is terminally ill and only has a year to live.

“Kyo no Kira-kun” opens February 25, 2017 in Japan.

Teaser poster and release date for movie “My Dad and Mr. Ito”

Teaser poster and release date added for upcoming movie “My Dad and Mr. Ito” starring Juri Ueno, Lily Franky & Tatsuya Fuji. Movie is based on novel “Otousan to Itou san” by Hinako Nakazawa and directed Yuki Tanada (“One Million Yen and the Nigamushi Woman“). Premise for the film has Juri Ueno played a 30 something year old woman living with her boyfriend, played by Lily Franky, who is 20 years her senior.  Then out of the blue, the woman’s father, played by Tatsuya Fuji, appears and moves in with them.

“My Dad and Mr. Ito” is now scheduled to be released October 8, 2016 in Japan.

New still images for KBS2 drama series “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” starring Park Bo-GumKim You-Jung. The still images are of Park Bo-Gum as Crown Prince Hyomyeong and Kim You-Jung as Hong Ra-On. “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” is based on web novel “Gooreumi Geurin Dalbit” written by Yoon Yi-Soo.

“Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” will first air August 15, 2016 in South Korea (takes over the time slot currently occupied by “Beautiful Mind“).

Still images & ep.2 trailer for currently airing KBS2 drama series “Uncontrollably Fond” starring Kim Woo-BinBae Suzy.

The still images above are of Kim Woo-Bin and Bae Suzy from a scene that was shot in Ansan, South Korea on December 12, 2015. This scene will appear in ep.2 which airs July 7, 2016.

Meanwhile, actress Park Hwan-Hee, having previously appeared in a supporting role in hit KBS2 drama series “Descendants of the Sun,” will make a cameo appearance in ep.2 of “Uncontrollably Fond.” Park Hwan-Hee will play teenage Ko Na-Ri (adult version played by Kim Min-Young) and friend of No-Eul (Bae Suzy).

Here’s 6 character posters for upcoming MBC drama series “W” starring Lee Jong-Suk & Han Hyo-Joo. The first 2 teaser posters on the top row have captions in Korean. The Lee Jong-Suk character poster with captions says “Now you can not go back” and the Han Hyo-Joo character poster with captions states “It is sure that she is a key to my life.”

“W” first airs July 20, 2016 in South Korea.

Supporting cast for live-action film “March Comes in Like a Lion”

Supporting cast added for upcoming live-action film “March Comes in Like a Lion” starring Ryunosuke Kamiki. Now cast in supporting roles are Kuranosuke Sasaki, Hideaki Ito, Ryo Kase, Kana Kurashina, Kaya Kiyohara, Chise Niitsu, Gin Maeda, Kasumi Arimura and Etsushi Toyokawa. Movie is based on manga series “San gatsu no Lion” by Chica Umino.

In the upcoming film, Kuranosuke Sasaki, Hideaki Ito and Ryo Kase will play shogi players. Kana Kurashina, Kaya Kiyohara and Chise Niitsu will play the three sisters of the Kawamoto family. Kasumi Arimura will play Kyoko Koda. Her character is a non blood related sister of Rei (Ryunosuke Kamiki). Etsushi Toyokawa will play Sachika Koda. He is the father of Kyoko Koda and friend of Rei’s late father. He also taught Rei shogi.

“March Comes in Like a Lion” will be released sometime during spring, 2017 and its sequel “March Comes in Like a Lion 2” will also be released spring, 2017 in Japan.
