Supporting cast announced for movie “L”

Supporting cast has been announced for upcoming movie “L” starring Alice Hirose. Now cast in the movie are Yuki Furukawa, Maryjun Takahashi, Yuta Hiraoka, Yasuyuki Maekawa, Yuta Takahata, Seika Furuhata, Mihiro, Mikako, Yoji Tanaka & Hitomi Takahashi.

Movie “L” is based on rock album “L” by Acid Black Cherry (solo project by Japanese musician Yasu). Story for the film will follow a woman name L, played by Alice Hirose, as she goes through life looking for love.

In the upcoming movie Yuki Furukawa will play Ovesu. His character is in love with L (Alise Hirose). Maryjun Takahashi will play Anna. She works with L at a cabaret. Yuta Hiraoka will play a member of a theatrical company. Yasuyuki Maekawa will play the cabaret owner and Yuta Takahata will play a bakery owner.

“L” will be released sometime this autumn in Japan.

Kim So-Eun cast in SBS drama series “Our Gab-Soon”

Actress Kim So-Eun is cast for lead female role in upcoming SBS weekend drama series “Our Gab-Soon” co-starring Song Jae-Rim. Lee Ha-Na was first cast to play the lead female role, but she dropped out of the series shortly after the first script reading. Song Jae-Rim and Kim So-Eun previously appeared together in TV show “We Got Married” from 2014-2015.

In drama series, “Our Gab-Soon,” Kim So-Eun will play Shin Gab-Soon. She is the youngest child in an ordinary family. She prepares for her civil service exam and works part-time.

“Our Gab-Soon” first airs this August in South Korea.

Lim Ji-Yeon cast in MBC drama series “Blow Breeze”

Lim Ji-Yeon is cast for the lead female role in upcoming MBC weekend drama series “Blow Breeze” (literal title). Already cast in supporting roles are Geum Bo-Ra, Son Chang-Min and Lee Il-Hwa.

In the drama series, Lim Ji-Yeon will play Kim Mi-Poong. Her character is a student majoring in dance at a university in Pyongyang, North Korea. She is popular there, but she flees to South Korea after many complications.

Lim Ji-Yeon is currently practicing North Korean dialect to play her role. Casting for the lead male character has yet to be finalized, but actor Son Ho-Jun is currently considering an offer to play the part. “Blow Breeze” first airs this August in South Korea.

Ep.3 trailer for KBS2 drama series “Uncontrollably Fond” + cameo appearances

Ep.3 trailer added for currently airing KBS2 drama series “Uncontrollably Fond” starring Kim Woo-Bin & Bae Suzy.

In addition, Lee Joon-Ho (‘2PM’) and actress Lee Yoo-Bi will make cameo appearances in ep.4 of “Uncontrollably Fond.” Both Lee Joon-Ho and Lee Yoo-Bi worked together with Kim Woo-Bin in 2015 movie “Twenty.” In ep.4 of “Uncontrollably Fond,” Lee Joon-Ho and Lee Yoo-Bi will play a famous star couple. The famous couple date at night secretly to avoid publicity and they will use their real names in the drama series. Filming for this scene took place January 26, 2016 along the waterfront by the Han River in Seoul, South Korea.

Ep.3 of “Uncontrollably Fond”airs later tonight in South Korea and ep.4 airs Thursday, July 14, 2016.

Character posters and main trailer for movie “The Tunnel”

Character posters, main trailer and an English subtitled teaser trailer added for upcoming summer disaster film “The Tunnel” starring Ha Jung-Woo & Bae Doo-Na. The character posters are of Ha Jung-Woo, Bae Doo-Na and Oh Dal-Su. The premise for the film surrounds a man who becomes trapped in a tunnel that collapses around him while he is driving. His ordeal goes on for over 30 days, will Ha Jung-Woo survive?

“The Tunnel” will be released August 10, 2016 in South Korea.

Lee Sun-Kyun & BoA cast in JTBC drama series “My Wife’s Having an Affair this Week”

Lee Sun-Kyun & BoA are cast in upcoming JTBC drama series “My Wife’s Having an Affair this Week.” Lee Sun-Kyun was offered the lead male role and he has now accepted. BoA will play a major supporting character. Her character Kwon Bo-Young works as a writer. Also cast in supporting roles are  Kim Hee-Won and Lee Sang-Yeob. “My Wife’s Having an Affair this Week” is a remake of 2007 Fuji TV drama series “My Wife’s Having an Affair this Week?!

“My Wife’s Having an Affair this Week” will first air sometime this October in South Korea.
