Jung Il-Woo, Park So-Dam, Ahn Jae-Hyeon and Lee Jung-Shin cast in drama “Cinderella and Four Knights”

Jung Il-Woo, Park So-Dam, Ahn Jae-Hyeon and Lee Jung-Shin (CNBLUE) are now all cast in upcoming drama series “Cinderella and Four Knights” (working/literal title). The drama series went under the early working title “Niga Cheoeumiya” (“You’re The First”), prior to picking up its new working title. In addition to the four main castings, Choi Min and Son Na-Eun from K-pop group ‘A Pink’ are cast as well.

Jung Il-Woo will play male lead character Kang Ji-Woon. His character is wild, but he is lonely inside. He became a member of a wealthy family overnight. His character will have a confrontation with Kang Hyun-Min (Ahn Jae-Hyeon) over Ha-Won (Park So-Dam).

Park So-Dam will play lead female character Eun Ha-Won. Her character is a high school student who begins to live in a mansion with three men and a bodyguard.

Ahn Jae-Hyeon will play Kang Hyun-Min. His character is a womanizer.

Lee Jung-Shin from CNBLUE will play Kang Seo-Woo. His character is a singer.

Choi Min will play Lee Yoon-Sung. His character is the bodyguard.

Son Na-Eun will play Park Hye-Ji. Her character is a childhood friend of Kang Hyun-Min. She falls into a love triangle with Kang Hyun-Min and Kang Ji-Woon.

“Cinderella and Four Knights” will air sometime during the first half of this year in South Korea (network is still undetermined).

Teaser trailer for movie “Sabuibo Mask”

Teaser trailer added for upcoming movie “Sabuibo Mask” starring Funky Kato, Teppei Koike & Airi Taira. Movie is directed by Naoto Monma and screenplay by Lion Hitoshizuku. The duo also worked together on upcoming movie “Hotel Copain” starring Hayato Ichihara. Premise for the film, follows a young man as he tries to revive a dying downtown area in a small town. He sings on a mandarin box.

“Sabuibo Mask” will be released June 11, 2016 in Japan.

Ryoo Joon-Yeol cast in movie “The King”

Ryoo Joon-Yeol ,who just finished performing in popular tvN drama series “Reply 1988,” is cast in upcoming movie “The King” which Zo In-Sung, Jung Woo-Sung, Bae Sung-Woo and Lee Joo-Yeon are already cast. In the film, he will play Tae-Soo’s (Zo In-Sung) friend who becomes a gang boss. Meanwhile, actress Kim A-Joong has been offered the lead female role and she is currently considering the offer. If she accepts the offer, she will play the wife of Zo In-Sung’s character. Movie is directed by Han Jae-Rim (“The Face Reader“).

Filming for “The King” begins next month in South Korea.

Teaser poster for movie “Musudan”

Here’s the first teaser poster for upcoming mystery-thriller film “Musudan” starring Lee Ji-Ah and Kim Min-Jun. Story for the film takes place along the Korean Demilitarized Zone. A string of missing persons turned deaths take place on the DMZ. A unit led by Jo Jin-Ho (Kim Min-Jun) and Shin Yoo-Hwa (Lee Ji-Ah) have 24 hours to figure out the truth.

“Musudan” will be released February, 2016 in South Korea.

Lee Sang-Woo cast in MBC drama series “Happy Home”

Actor Lee Sang-Woo is cast in upcoming MBC drama series “Happy Home” which has also cast Kim So-Yeon, Lee Pil-Mo, Yoon Jin-Yi and Park Min-Woo.

In drama series “Happy Home,” Lee Sang-Woo will play Seo Ji-Gun. His character is an excellent doctor, but also eccentric (wearing different color socks, constantly eating instant food due to inability to cook, bedhead, etc). He falls into a love triangle with characters played by Kim So-Yeon and Lee Pil-Mo.

This will be the second time Lee Sang-Woo will work with director Lee Dong-Yoon and screenwriter Jo Eun-Jung. The trio previously worked together in 2012 MBC drama series “Feast of the Gods.”

“Happy Home” first airs February 27, 2016.

Teaser trailer for SBS drama series “Come Back Mister”

First teaser trailer for upcoming SBS drama series “Come Back Mister” starring Rain, Lee Min-Jung and Oh Yeon-Seo. The first teaser trailer features mostly supporting cast members with Lee Min-Jung briefly shown. Drama series “Come Back Mister” is based on Japanese novel “Tsubakiyama Kacho no Nanokakan” by Jiro Asada which was previously adapted into the 2006 film “Tsubakiyama kacho no nanoka-kan” and 2009 TV Asahi drama special “Tsubakiyama Kacho no Nanokakan.”

“Come Back Mister” first airs February 24, 2016 in South Korea.
