“Fukigen na Kako” will be released June 25, 2016 in Japan.
First script reading for SBS drama series “Jackpot” starring Jang Keun-Suk, Yeo Jin-Goo and Lim Ji-Yeon took place February 15, 2016 in South Korea. The first script reading took about 5 hours to finish. The drama series is set in the 18th century and revolves around Dae-Gil (Jang Keun-Suk) and Prince Yeoning (Yeo Jin-Goo). Dae-Gil was abandoned under the misunderstanding that he might not be King Sookjong’s son and Prince Yeoning’s attempt to become the King for his own survival.
“Jackpot” first airs March 28, 2016 in South Korea.
In “Hiru no Saint Shu,” Shigeyuki Totsugi plays Takauki Utsumi. His character is a salesperson at an advertising company, but he constantly ranks lowest in terms of sales. He likes to skip work during the day and go to the bathhouse. After the bathhouse he goes to a bar.

Kento Yamazaki & Haruna Kawaguchi are cast in live-action film “One Week Friends.” Movie is based on manga series “Isshukan Friends” by Matcha Hazuki and directed by Shosuke Murakami (“Train Man“/”Threads of Destiny“).
In live-action film “One Week Friends,” Kento Yamazaki plays high school student Yuki Hase. His character attempts to befriend Kaori Fujimiya (Haruna Kawaguchi). Kaori Fujimiya is a loner without any friends. Yuki Hase learns from Kaori Fujimiya that she has short term memory loss and forgets her friends by Monday.
Filming for “One Week Friends” was completed in December, 2015 and the movie will be released sometime in February, 2017.
Lily Franky, Tomoko Nakajima, Kazuya Kamenashi (‘KAT-TUN’) & Ai Hashimoto are cast in movie “Utsukushii Hoshi.” The upcoming film is based on 1962 novel “Utsukushii Hoshi” by Yukio Mishima and directed by Daihachi Yoshida (“The Kirishima Thing“/”Pale Moon“).
In the movie, Lily Franky, Tomoko Nakajima, Kazuya Kamenashi & Ai Hashimoto play a family with an unusual secret. They believe they are aliens with the father (Lily Franky) from Mars, the mother (Tomoko Nakajima) from Jupiter, the son (Kazuya Kamenashi) from Mercury and the daughter (Ai Hashimoto) from Venus. The family tries to save the world from nuclear weapons.
Filming for “Utsukushii Hoshi” takes place from March-April, 2016 in Tokyo and the movie will be released May, 2017 in Japan.
Hayato Ichihara & Chiaki Kuriyama are cast in upcoming TV Asahi drama series “Fukigen na Kajitsu.” The drama series is based on novel”Fukigen na Kajitsu” by Mariko Hayashi. In the drama series, Chiaki Kuriyama plays a 32-years-old housewife displease with her husband’s indifference to her. She then meets a music critic played by Hayato Ichihara and they fall into a forbidden love.
“Fukigen na Kajitsu” will first air this April in Japan.
