Actress Lee Ha-Na has dropped out of upcoming weekend SBS drama series “Our Gab-Soon” co-starring Song Jae-Rim. The first script reading for the drama series took place July 2, 2016 at SBS Ilsan Production Studios in Goyang, South Korea and Lee Ha-Na took part in the first script reading. A few days later though, Lee Ha-Na has decided to not act in the drama series. The drama series staff is now seeking a replacement actress to play the lead female role of Gab-Soon.
“Our Gab-Soon” is currently scheduled to first air this August in South Korea.
Supporting cast has been announced for upcoming live-action film “P and JK” starring Kazuya Kamenashi (‘KAT-TUN’) and Tao Tsuchiya. Now cast in supporting roles are Mahiro Takasugi, Tina Tamashiro, Daigo Nishihata, Aya Omasa , Jun Murakami , Rie Tomosaka and Tomorowo Taguchi. Movie is based on manga series “P to JK” by Maki Miyoshi and directed by Ryuichi Hiroki.
In the upcoming film Mahiro Takasugi will play disorderly student Heisuke Okami. Tina Tamashiro will play Mikado Yaguchi. Her character is friends with Kako (Tao Tsuchiya). Daigo Nishihata will play Jiro Nagakura. His character is classmates with Kako. Aya Omasa will play Fumi Komori. Her character is a police colleague of Kota (Kazuya Kamenashi). Jun Murakami & Rie Tomosaka will play parents of Kako. Finally, Tomorowo Taguchi will play Shuichi Yamamoto. His character is senior police colleague of Kota.
“P and JK” will be released sometime during spring, 2017 in Japan.

Taishi Nakagawa & Marie Iitoyo are cast in live-action film “Kyo no Kira-kun.” Movie is based on manga series “Kyo no Kira kun” by Rin Mikimoto and directed Yasuhiro Kawamura (“L-DK“). In live-action film “Kyo no Kira-kun,” Taishi Nakagawa & Marie Iitoyo play high school classmates who are also next door neighbors. Taishi Nakagawa’s character is terminally ill and only has a year to live.
“Kyo no Kira-kun” opens February 25, 2017 in Japan.

Teaser poster and release date added for upcoming movie “My Dad and Mr. Ito” starring Juri Ueno, Lily Franky & Tatsuya Fuji. Movie is based on novel “Otousan to Itou san” by Hinako Nakazawa and directed Yuki Tanada (“One Million Yen and the Nigamushi Woman“). Premise for the film has Juri Ueno played a 30 something year old woman living with her boyfriend, played by Lily Franky, who is 20 years her senior. Then out of the blue, the woman’s father, played by Tatsuya Fuji, appears and moves in with them.
“My Dad and Mr. Ito” is now scheduled to be released October 8, 2016 in Japan.
