Lee Sang-Woo cast in MBC drama series “Happy Home”

Actor Lee Sang-Woo is cast in upcoming MBC drama series “Happy Home” which has also cast Kim So-Yeon, Lee Pil-Mo, Yoon Jin-Yi and Park Min-Woo.

In drama series “Happy Home,” Lee Sang-Woo will play Seo Ji-Gun. His character is an excellent doctor, but also eccentric (wearing different color socks, constantly eating instant food due to inability to cook, bedhead, etc). He falls into a love triangle with characters played by Kim So-Yeon and Lee Pil-Mo.

This will be the second time Lee Sang-Woo will work with director Lee Dong-Yoon and screenwriter Jo Eun-Jung. The trio previously worked together in 2012 MBC drama series “Feast of the Gods.”

“Happy Home” first airs February 27, 2016.

Teaser trailer for SBS drama series “Come Back Mister”

First teaser trailer for upcoming SBS drama series “Come Back Mister” starring Rain, Lee Min-Jung and Oh Yeon-Seo. The first teaser trailer features mostly supporting cast members with Lee Min-Jung briefly shown. Drama series “Come Back Mister” is based on Japanese novel “Tsubakiyama Kacho no Nanokakan” by Jiro Asada which was previously adapted into the 2006 film “Tsubakiyama kacho no nanoka-kan” and 2009 TV Asahi drama special “Tsubakiyama Kacho no Nanokakan.”

“Come Back Mister” first airs February 24, 2016 in South Korea.

Filming finishes for movie “Take Off 2”

Filming finished January 14, 2016 for upcoming film “Take Off 2” starring Soo-Ae, Oh Dal-Su, Oh Yeon-Seo, Kim Seul-Gi, Jin Ji-Hee. Filming took about 3 months to complete. Like its predecessor, 2009 box-office hit “Take Off,” movie follows a newly formed national Korean team as they prepare to take part in international competition. This time around, the team consists of women, as they form the country’s first female national ice hockey team.

In the film, Soo-Ae will star as Ji-Won. Her character is North Korean defector. She played on the national women’s ice hockey for North Korea.

Oh Dal-Su will play the coach for the national women’s ice hockey team.

Oh Yeon-Seo will play a character who was kicked off the short track team and decides to join the women’s ice hockey team.

Release date for “Take Off 2” will take place sometime this year in South Korea.

Lee Gi-Kwang & Lee Yeol-Eum cast in MBC drama series “Monster”

Lee Gi-Kwang from boy band “Beast” and actress Lee Yeol-Eum are cast in supporting roles for upcoming MBC drama series “Monster.” Actor Seo Kang-Joon and actress Hwang Jung-Eum are currently weighting offers  to play lead roles in the drama series.

In drama series “Monster.” Lee Gi-Kwang and Lee Yeol-Eum will play Kang Ki-Tan and Cha Soo-Yeon respectively. They will play 20-year-old somethings of their characters. They will appear in 4 episodes of the drama series. The drama series will follow a man in during the 1997 financial crisis up to the present days.

“Monster” first airs sometime this April in South Korea.

Two posters for upcoming KBS2 drama series “The Promise”

Here’s two posters from upcoming KBS2 drama series “The Promise” (English title) starring Lee Yu-Ri, Song Jong-Ho, Park Ha-Na and Seo Jun-Young. The two posters feature actress Lee Yu-Ri in the roles of her two characters Lee Na-Yeon and Baek Do-Hee. Shooting for the posters took place January 6, 206 at a studio in Deogyang, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.

The poster on the left has Lee Yu-Ri in the role of Lee Na-Yeon. Her character has a bright personality. She delivers lunch boxes for work. She does anything for her family and boyfriend. The second poster is of Lee Yu-Ri in the role of Baek Do-Hee. She is the only daughter from a wealth family. Her character is arrogant and tough. She works as a reporter at a weekly magazine.

“The Promise” first airs February 1, 2016 in South Korea.
