First teaser trailer for KBS2 drama series “On the Way to the Airport”

First teaser trailer added for upcoming KBS2 drama series “On the Way to the Airport” starring Kim Ha-Neul & Lee Sang-Yoon.

Meanwhile, still images above is from Lee Sang-Yoon’s first day of filming for the drama series. The still images has Seo Do-Woo (Lee Sang-Yoon) delivering a lecture as an instructor for the Department of Construction Engineering.

“On the Way to the Airport” first airs September 21, 2016 in South Korea.

Takanori Iwata cast in TBS drama series “Suna no Tou”

Takanori Iwata (‘J Soul Brothers’/‘EXILE’) is cast in upcoming TBS drama series “Suna no Tou” starring Miho Kanno and Nanako Matsushima.

In the upcoming drama series, Takanori Iwata will play 28-year-old Kohei Ubukata. He works as a gym teacher and one of his students is the daughter of Aki Takano’s (Miho Kanno). Kohei Ubukata and Aki Takano grew up in the same neighborhood and he has liked Aki Takano since that time. He supports Aki Takano during her troubles with her neighbors, but he also has a hidden side.

“Suna no Tou” first airs this October in Japan.

Yoo In-Na and Yook Sung-Jae cast in tvN drama series “Goblin”

Yoo In-Na and Yook Sung-Jae (‘BTOB’) are now cast in upcoming tvN drama series “Goblin” starring Gong Yoo & Kim Go-Eun.

In the upcoming drama series, Yoo In-Na will play Kim Sun. Her character is also known as Sunny. She is an attractive woman. After she squandered away money, she went through various hardships in life. She changes after she meets Wang Yeo (Lee Dong-Wook).

Yook Sung-Jae from idol group ‘BTOB’ will play Yoo Duk-Hwa. He is the eldest son of a family who runs a large company. Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) is his uncle. His character is defiant, but he lives a different life through Kim Shin.

First script reading for “Goblin” is scheduled to take place on August 30, 2016.

Sol Kyung-Gu & Siwan cast in movie “Robber”

Sol Kyung-Gu & Siwan (ZE:A) are cast in upcoming movie “Robber” (literal title). Movie is written and directed by Byun Sung-Hyun (“Whatcha Wearin’?“). Cast in supporting roles are Kim Hee-Won, Jeon Hye-Jin, Lee Kyoung-Young, Heo Jun-Ho & Kim Sung-Oh.

Story for movie “Robber” has Sol Kyung-Gu playing prison kingpin Jae-Ho. Siwan will play new prisoner Hyun-Soo. Hyun-Soo is the type who refuses to submit to others, while Jae-Ho makes the rules at the prison. Meanwhile, Jae-Ho has eyes on the top position in the criminal gang he belongs to once he is released from prison.

Filming for “Robber” began August 18, 2016.

Here’s Kim Ha-Neul’s first still image from upcoming KBS2 drama series “On the Way to the Airport.” The still image is from her first day of filming for the drama series. The scene has Choi Soo-A (Kim Ha-Neul) riding down an escalator at the airport while dressed in her flight attendant uniform. Choi Soo-A has worked for 12 years as a flight attendant and is married with one daughter.

Oh Yeon-Seo cast in movie “Cheese in the Trap”

Oh Yeon-Seo is cast for the lead female role in upcoming movie “Cheese in the Trap” co-starring Park Hae-Jin. Movie is based on popular webcomic “Cheese in the Trap” by Soon Ggi which was previously adapted in 2016 tvN drama series “Cheese in the Trap.”  For the movie version, Oh Yeon-Seo will play Hong Seol. Initially, the movie planned on selecting the lead actress through auditions, but after an unsatisfactory initial round the auditions were cancelled.

The director for “Cheese in the Trap” will be decided by September, 2016 and filming will begin February, 2017.

Here’s 12 character posters for upcoming movie “Sanada Ten Braves.” The character posters are of Kankuro Nakamura, Tori Matsuzaka, Yuko Oshima, Kento Nagayama, Kazuki Kato, Mitsuomi Takahashi, Taro Suruga, Ryouta Murai, Atsushi Arai, Ayumu Mochizuki, Ken Aoki and Masaya Kato. Movie “Sanada Ten Braves” revolves around a group of ninja and is based on the stage play “Sanada Juyushi” by Nozomi Makino.

“Sanada Ten Braves” opens September 22, 2016 in Japan.
