Teaser trailer for movie “Yurigokoro”

Teaser trailer added for upcoming movie “Yurigokoro” starring Yuriko Yoshitaka. Movie is based on 2011 novel “Yurigokoro” by Mahokaru Numata and directed by Naoto Kumazawa (“Rainbow Song“). Author Mahokaru Numata writes novels in the crime-suspense-horror genre and more specifically the “iyamisu” (eww mystery) subgenre which has become quite popular in Japan in the last 4 or 5 years. Upcoming movie “Kanojo ga Sono Mei wo Shiranai Toritachi,” starring Yu Aoi and Sadao Abe, is also based on another novel by Mahokaru Numata. Premise for movie “Yurigokoro” follows a woman who finds a diary belonging to her father that implicates him as murderer.

Movie “Yurigokoro” will be released sometime this September in Japan.

Jung Jae-Young cast in OCN drama series “Dual”

Actor Jung Jae-Young is cast in new OCN drama series “Dual.” The drama series will premiere sometime in May following the conclusion of “Tunnel.” In the drama series, Jung Jae-Young will play Kang Deuk-Cheon. He works as the chief of a serious crime squad. At home, he is a kind father. He becomes involved in a battle between human clones.

Teaser trailer #4 added for JTBC drama series “Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon” starring Park Bo-Young, Park Hyung-Sik & Ji Soo.

Meanwhile, still images above are main character Do Bong-Soon’s (Park Bo-Young) family. Her mother (played byShim Hye-Jin) also possesses super strength. Their physical strength is hereditary and its passed along only from mother to daughter. But, Do Bong-Soon’s mother does not have her enhanced strength anymore, because she overused it as a weightlifter. Do Bong-Soon’s father (played by Yoo Jae-Myung) runs a walnut pie shop. He is a friendly father to Do Bong-Soon. Do Bong-Soon’s fraternal twin brother Do Bong-Ki (An Woo-Yeon) is a medical resident. He cares about Do Bong-Soon a lot.

Trailer for live-action film “Peach Girl”

Trailer added for upcoming live-action film “Peach Girl” starring Mizuki Yamamoto & Kei Inoo. Movie is based on manga “Peach Girl” by Miwa Ueda. Story for the film follows high school student Momo Adachi (Mizuki Yamamoto). She always gets mistaken for a “bad girl” due to her appearance. A rumor spreads she kissed the most popular boy at school (Kei Inoo), which riles up the other girls, but she actually likes a boy (Mackenyu) on the baseball team that she is unable to express her feelings for.

“Peach Girl” will be released May 20, 2017 in Japan.

Script reading for tvN drama series “The Liar and His Lover”

Second script reading for upcoming tvN drama series “The Liar and His Lover” took place February 8, 2017 at CJ E&M Center in Sangam-dong, Seoul, South Korea. Main cast members including Lee Hyun-Woo, Joy (‘Red Velvet’), Lee Jung-Jin, Lee Seo-Won, Hong Seo-Young, Choi Min-Soo & Lim Ye-Jin all attended. A more limited first script reading took place January 21, 2017. Drama series “The Liar and His Lover” is based on manga series “Kanojo wa Uso o Aishisugiteru” by Kotomi Aoki. Tatsuya Fujiwara and Erika Toda cast in TBS drama series “Reverse”

Tatsuya Fujiwara and Erika Toda are cast in new TBS drama series “Reverse.” The drama series is based on 2015 novel “Reverse” by Kanae Minato (“Confessions“/”The Snow White Murder Case“). In the drama series, they will play main characters Kazuhisa Fukase and Mihoko Ochi. They meet at a coffee shop and become boyfriend and girlfriend. Meanwhile, the death of a former university classmate on a snowboarding trip looms in the background. Also cast in supporting roles are Yuta Tamamori, Teppei Koike, Takahiro Miura, Mugi Kadowaki, Hayato Ichihara, You, Kotaro Shiga, Nagisa Katahira and Tetsuya Takeda.

“Reverse” first airs this April in Japan.

Choi Gang-Hee cast in KBS2 drama series “Mystery Queen”

Choi Gang-Hee is now cast for the lead female role in upcoming KBS2 drama series “Mystery Queen.” In the drama series, Choi Gang-Hee will play Yoo Seol-Ok. She is a very curious person and sometimes acts silly, but she is a lovely woman and has a high sense of reasoning power. She partners up with Detective Ha Wan-Seung to solve cases. Actor Kwon Sang-Woo is still considering an offer to play lead male character Detective Ha Wan-Seung.

First two teaser trailers added for upcoming tvN drama series “The Liar and His Lover” starring Lee Hyun-Woo & Joy (‘Red Velvet’).

The first teaser trailer features Lee Hyun-Woo and he says during the voice-over “I’ll lie today too, because I don’t want to reveal my feelings. I lie because I want to be by her side. She loves lies so much.” The second teaser trailer features Joy and her voice-over says “I have someone I like. This is my first love, but he keeps lying to me over and over again.
