Actress Ku Hye-Sun officially registered her marriage to actor Ahn Jae-Hyeon at the Gangnam district office today, May 20, 2106. She registered their marriage by herself, due to Ahn Jae-Hyeon filming for upcoming drama series “Cinderella and Four Knights.” Tomorrow, May 21, 2016, the couple will have a meal with their parents and family members to celebrate their marriage. The couple will skip a traditional wedding ceremony and donate the money they were supposed to spend on their wedding ceremony to a hospital pediatrics ward. They first met while working together in 2015 KBS2 drama series “Blood.”
Kotaro Koizumi & Haruna Kawaguchi cast in NHK drama series “Juken no Cinderella.” The drama series is based on 2008 novel by “Juken no Shinderera” by Hideki Wada. 2008 film “Cinderella Formula” is also based on the same story and directed by original writer Hideki Wada.
Setup for the film has Tooru Igarashi (Kotaro Koizumi) playing a former preparatory school instructor whose life has come crashing down. He has learned that he has only 1 year to live. He meets Maki Endo played by Haruna Kawaguchi. She works multiple part-time jobs while attending a part-time high school. Tooru Igarashi then agrees to tutor to her so she can get into the University of Tokyo.

Satoshi Tsumabuki & Kiko Mizuhara are cast in live-action film “A Boy Who Wished to be Okuda Tamio And A Girl Who Drove All Men Crazy” (literal title). Also cast in supporting roles are Suzuki Matsuo, Hirofumi Arai, Sakura Ando & Lily Franky. Movie is based on manga series “Okuda Tamio ni Naritai Boy Deau Otoko Subete Kuruwaseru Girl” by Chokkaku Shibuya and directed byHitoshi One (“Bakuman“).
Story for “A Boy Who Wished to be Okuda Tamio And A Girl Who Drove All Men Crazy” has Satoshi Tsumabuki playing 35-years-old Yuji Koroki. He gets transferred to the editing division at a magazine. There, he falls in love with Akari Amami played by Kiko Mizuhara, but a hell like experience is about to begin.
“A Boy Who Wished to be Okuda Tamio And A Girl Who Drove All Men Crazy” will be released sometime next year in Japan.
Drama series “My Sassy Girl,” starring Joo Won, has now been picked up by SBS and will air in early 2017. In addition, the series will be directed by Oh Jin-Seok who worked with Joo Won in 2015 SBS drama series “Yong-Pal.” Casting for the lead actress will take place through open auditions. The drama series is a remake of 2001 movie “My Sassy Girl,” but set in the Joseon period.
Ahn So-Hee (former member of Kpop group ‘Wonder Girls’) is now cast in upcoming tvN drama series “Entourage” starring Seo Kang-Joon, Cho Jin-Woong, Park Jung-Min, Lee Kwang-Soo & Lee Dong-Hwi. Drama series is a remake of U.S. drama series “Entourage” which aired on HBO.
In the drama series, Ahn So-Hee will playing supporting character having her actual name of Ahn So-Hee. Her character is an actress and the first love of Cha Young-Bin (Seo Kang-Joon). She is arrogant, but has a warm heart.

Story for “Familyhood” has Kim Hye-Soo playing actress/diva Joo-Yeon. Her character is in her 40’s and has now decided to have a baby, but she learns she is unable to. She crosses paths with a pregnant teen played by Kim Hyun-Soo at the hospital.
“Familyhood” is now scheduled for release June 29, 2016 in South Korea.
Kim Sang-Ho, David Lee & Kang Ki-Young are cast in upcoming tvN drama series “Let’s Fight Ghost” starring TaecYeon, Kim So-Hyun & Kwon Yool. The first script reading for the drama series is scheduled to take place next week.
In the drama series, Kim Sang-Ho will play a monk. His character is a helper of Park Bong-Pal (TaecYeon). David Lee and Kang Ki-Young will play friends of Park Bong-Pal.
“Let’s Fight Ghost” will first air this July in South Korea.

Movie had its world premiere at last year’s Tokyo International Film Festival and won the “Best Picture Award” in the Japanese Cinema Splash section at the film festival. Story for the film follows two young men who begin selling drugs out of an auto repair shop. They soon cross paths with the yakuza.
