First still images of Yoo Seung-Ho in SBS drama “Remember”

Here’s the first still images of actor Yoo Seung-Ho in upcoming SBS drama series “Remember” also starring Park Min-Young.

The still images are from Yoo Seung-Ho’s first day of filming for the drama series which took place November 12, 2015 at Nanji  Ecology Park in Ilsan, South Korea. In the drama series, Yoo Seung-Ho plays Seo Jin-Woo and the series follows him from the age of 18 through 23.
“Remember” first airs December 9, 2015 in South Korea.

Ren Kiriyama cast in Fuji TV drama series “Kasa wo Motanai Aritachi wa”

Ren Kiriyama is cast in new Fuji TV drama series “Kasa wo Motanai Aritachi wa.” The drama series is based on short story collection novel “Kasa wo Motanai Aritachi wa” by Shigeaki Kato. Shigeaki Kato is a member of idol group ‘NEWS’ and will also appear in the drama series “Kasa wo Motanai Aritachi wa.” Also cast in the drama series are Rika Adachi, Nao Minamisawa, Masanobu Sakata & Raita Ryu.

Story for “Kasa wo Motanai Aritachi wa” has Ren Kiriyama playing aspiring writer Jun Hashimoto. His character is assigned by his editor to write a short love story for a web magazine. Jun Hashimoto doesn’t want to write the story and has difficulty coming up with an idea for the story. His friend played by Shigeaki Kato then appears and Jun Hashimoto concocts a story.

“Kasa wo Motanai Aritachi wa” will consist of 4 episodes and air from January 9 through January 30, 2016 in Japan.

Kim So-Hyun cast in KBS2 drama “Page Turner”

Teen actress Kim So-Hyun is cast in new 3 episode KBS2 drama series “Page Turner.” The drama series depicts the story of three youths. Kim So-Hyun will play talented pianist Yoon Yoo-Seul. She gets into an accident which causes her to possibly never play the piano again. With the help of her friend and former rival, she begins to live a new life.

3 episode KBS2 drama series “Page Turner” will air February, 2016 in South Korea.

Jin Se-Yun cast in MBC drama series “The Flower in Prison”

Actress Jin Se-Yun is cast in new MBC drama series “The Flower in Prison” (working and literal title). The drama series will be directed by Lee Byung-Hoon (“Dong Yi“/”A Jewel in the Palace“) and scripted by Choi Wan-Kyu (“Midas“). Actor Ko Soo has been offered the lead male role and he is currently “positively considering” the offer.

Drama series “The Flower in Prison” is set during the Joseon Dynasty era. Jin Se-Yun will play main character Ok-Nyeo. Her character was born in prison, but now is part of the “weji-boo” which helps the less fortunate in the area of law.

“The Flower in Prison” will first air March, 2016 in South Korea (takes over MBC’s Saturday and Sunday 9:45 time slot from”My Daughter, Geum Sa-Wol“).

Kazuya Kamenashi cast in NTV drama “The Mysterious Thief Yamaneko”

Kazuya Kamenashi (Jpop group ‘KAT-TUN’) is cast in new NTV drama series “The Mysterious Thief Yamaneko.” The drama series is based on 2006 novel “Kaito Tantei Yamaneko Series” by Manabu Kaminaga and directed by Ryuichi Inomata (“I’m Mita, Your Housekeeper“). In the drama series, Kazuya Kamenashi will play main character Yamaneko. His character is a mysterious figure who steals from people and corporations committing evil acts. His character also exposes those evil acts.

“The Mysterious Thief Yamaneko” first airs January, 2016 in Japan.

Here’s still images of So Ji-Sub and Shin Min-A in ep.1 of KBS2 drama series “Oh My Venus.” The still images are from a scene for ep.1 of the drama series that was filmed on November 5, 2015 at Yongsan-district, Seoul, South Korea. Filming for this scene began at 6PM and finished at 4AM.

Emi Takei is cast in Fuji TV drama series “Fragile”

Emi Takei is cast in upcoming Fuji TV live-action drama series “Fragile” starring Tomoya Nagase. Also cast in supporting roles are Koyuki, Kinya Kitaoji & Shuhei Nomura. Drama series is based on manga series “Fragile” by Bin Kusamizu & Saburo Megumi

In drama series “Fragile.” Emi Takei will play rookie pathologist Chihiro Miyazaki. She is full of passion and pure in her desire to save the lives of patients. Shuhei Nomura will play Chihiro Miyazaki. His character is a clinical laboratory technologist. Koyuki  will play Madoka Hosoki. Her character is a surgeon and graduated from the same university as Keiichiro Kishi (Tomoya Nagase). Kinya Kitaoji will play Kaoru Nakaguma. He is a former instructor of Keiichiro Kishi.

“Fragile” first airs January 13, 2016 in Japan.

Jang Na-Ra cast in MBC drama series “One More Happy Ending”

Actress Jang Na-Ra is cast in new MBC drama series “One More Happy Ending” (literal title). Drama series will be directed by Kwon Sung-Chan (“Late Night Hospital“).

In drama series “One More Happy Ending,” Jang Na-Ra will play Han Mi-Mo. She works as a representative for a remarriage consulting business. She gives honest advice to her customers who hope to remarry. Her character possesses a beautiful appearance. When she was younger, Han Mi-Mo was a member of an idol group.

“One More Happy Ending” will first air this January in South Korea (takes over MBC’s Wednesday and Thursday 10PM time slot after “My Sweet and Sour Family“).

Yoona cast in movie “Cooperation”

Yoona from popular idol group “Girls’ Generation” is cast in upcoming movie “Cooperation” starring Hyun-Bin. Veteran actor Yu Hae-Jin is currently considering an offer to play a major supporting role. Movie will be directed by Kim Sung-Hoon (“A Wonderful Moment“) and produced by Yoon Je-Kyun (“Ode To My Father“).

In movie “Cooperation,” Yoona will play Park Min-Young. Her character is the sister-in-law of a South Korean detective (Yu Hae-Jin if he accepts the role). Movie deals with an unofficial investigation conducted by North and South Korea together.

Filming for “Cooperation” will begin early next year in South Korea.
