Movie had its world premiere at last year’s Tokyo International Film Festival and won the “Best Picture Award” in the Japanese Cinema Splash section at the film festival. Story for the film follows two young men who begin selling drugs out of an auto repair shop. They soon cross paths with the yakuza.

Sung Hoon cast in movie “Come Back to Busan Port” co-starring Lee Jung-Jin & Yang Dong-Geun. Chinese actor Simon Yam will also appear in the film. Movie will be directed by Park Hee-Joon (“Mandate“). Premise for the film has Sung Hoon playing younger brother Tae-Soon. His older twin brother is played by Lee Jung-Jin. The twins were separated at an early age. The younger brother is now the #2 guy for a crime gang and the older brother is a detective.
Filming for “Come Back to Busan Port” begins June, 2016 in Busan, South Korea.
Teaser trailer and poster added for live-action sequel film “Higanjima: Vampire Island” starring Shunya Shiraishi & Ryohei Suzuki. Movie is based on manga series”Higanjima” by Koji Matsumoto and directed by Takeshi Watanabe (“Neko Zamurai“).
Story for the film follows 2012 TBS drama series “Higanjima” and has Akira Miyamoto (Shunya Shiraishi) going back to vampire infested island Higanjima with friends. There, Akira Miyamoto goes up against his older brother Atsushi Miyamoto (Shunya Suzuki) who is now a vampire.
“Higanjima: Vampire Island” will be released October 15, 2016 in Japan.
Trailer for movie “Nakimushi Pierrot no Kekkonshiki” starring Mirai Shida, Ryo Ryusei & Yuko Araki. Movie is based on non-fiction novel “Nakimushi Pierrot no Kekkonshiki” by Miyuki Mochizuki and directed by Osamu Minorikawa (“Sue, Mai and Sawa: Righting the Girl Ship“).

Noriyuki Higashiyama & Takako Matsu are cast in TBS drama special “Futsu ga Ichiban: Sakka Fujisawa Shuhei Chichi no Hitokoto.” The drama series is based on two essays by Nobuko Endo, which depicts her life as the daughter of writer Shuhei Fujisawa. In the drama special, Noriyuki Higashiyama will play writer Shuhei Fujisawa and Takako Matsu will plays his wife Masako Kosuga.
“Futsu ga Ichiban: Sakka Fujisawa Shuhei Chichi no Hitokoto” will air sometime this summer in Japan.
