Teaser trailer #3 added for upcoming KBS2 drama series “Lovely Horribly” starring Park Si-Hoo and Song Ji-Hyo. Teaser trailer #3 begins with man’s voice stating “Ghost Love is screenwriter Oh’s work.” A woman’s voice then states “Due to the drama series script, some strange things keep occurring.” The drama series is setup as horror/romantic-comedy and follows the fateful encounter of a top star Philip Yoo and drama series screenwriter Oh Eul-Soon.
“Lovely Horribly” first airs later tonight, August 13, 2018, in South Korea.
Jung Yoo-Mi has been offered the lead female role in upcoming OCN drama series “Priest.” Actor Yeon Woo-Jin has already received an offer to play the lead male role and he is still “positively considering” the offer. If Jung Yoo-Mi accepts her offer which she is positively considering, she will play Ham Eun-Ho. She is a doctor and works in the emergency room at a hospital.
Air dates for “Priest” is still in discussions.
First script reading for JTBC drama series “The Beauty Inside” took place July 22, 2018. Main cast members including Seo Hyun-Jin, Lee Min-Ki, Lee Da-Hee, Ahn Jae-Hyeon, Moon Ji-In, Lee Tae-Ri, Na Young-Hee and Ryu Hwa-Young (former member of ’T-ara’) attended the read through. After the script reading finished, Seo Hyun-Jin stated “Now, I realize that the drama series will finally begin. We will stay healthy and work hard under the hot summer weather, so I hope people look forward to the drama series a lot.” Lee Min-Ki also stated “I look forward to the good acting combination. We will work hard and enjoy ourselves.” The drama series revolves around the romance between Han Se-Kye (Seo Hyun-Jin) and Seo Do-Jae (Lee Min-Ki). The woman lives with a different appearance one week every month and the man is unable to recognize faces.

Keiko Kitagawa & Kazuki Kitamura are cast in TV Asahi drama special “Shitei Bengoshi.” The drama series is based on an original screenplay by Takeharu Sakurai. In the drama series Keiko Kitagawa will play attorney Yui Hitotsugi based out of Kyoto. She is asked to prosecute a case involving a politician and the sale of nationally owned land to a corporation. She receives the help of prosecutor Shinji Tachibana (Kazuki Kitamura) in the case.
“Shitei Bengoshi” will air sometime this September in Japan.
Teaser trailer #4 for tvN drama series “100 Days My Prince” starring Do Kyung-Soo and Nam Ji-Hyun. The drama series follow the 100 day disappearance of a crown prince (Do Kyung-Soo) and a Joseon era detective (Nam Ji-Hyun).

The drama series is tvN’s first drama series to air one episode per week on Fridays at 11PM. There’s actually two versions of teaser trailer #2 with slight variation in the sequencing. “The Guest” is slated to become OCN’s first Wednesday and Thursday 11PM drama series and will premiere September 12, 2018 in South Korea.
Trailer added for upcoming movie “Junpei, Think Again” starring Shuhei Nomura and Yurina Yanagi. The trailer also reveals the movie’s theme song which is “Mabushii Yami no Melody” by Japanese rock band The Pillows. In addition, movie’s main poster above also reveals that the movie has been invited to the 42nd Montreal World Film Festival (August 23 – September 3, 2018) and will screen in the out of competition “World Greats” section. Movie is based on novel “Junpei, Kangaenaose” by Hideo Okuda and directed by Toshiyuki Morioka.

Satoshi Tsumabuki and Mao Inoue are cast for lead roles in new TV Asahi drama special “Ranhansha.” The drama special is based on novel “Ranhansha” by Tokuro Nukui and directed by Yuya Ishii. Satoshi Tsumabuki and Yuya Ishii previously team up in movies “Our Family” and “The Vancouver Asahi.” In addition, Satoshi Tsumabuki starred in movie “Gukoroku: Traces of Sin” which is also based on a novel by Tokuro Nukui.
For drama special “Ranhansha,” Satoshi Tsumabuki & Mao Inoue play a married couple. Their young son dies in an accident which causes the parents to look for answers.
“Ranhansha” will air sometime this autumn in Japan.
