Release date for movie “After Love”

Movie “After Love,” starring Park Si-Hoo and Yoon Eun-Hye, is now scheduled to be released sometime this month in South Korea. Filming for the romance-melodrama movie took place from November 9, 2014 to February 1, 2015 and the film has picked and delayed different release dates over the past couple of years. With the recent sky-high popularity of the Park Si-Hoo led KBS2 drama series “My Golden Life,” releasing “After Love” soon would seem to be a wise move.

First teaser trailer for SBS drama series “Wok of Love”

First teaser trailer for upcoming SBS drama series “Wok of Love” (English title) starring Lee Joon-Ho, Jang Hyuk and Jung Ryeo-Won. The teaser trailer features voice overs by the three lead performers while a different Chinese dish is shown in the clip. They also recommend that you don’t watch the drama series with empty hands. Literal title for the drama series is “Greasy Melo.”

“Wok of Love” first airs May 7, 2018 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer #2 for KBS2 drama series “Suits”

Teaser trailer #2 added for upcoming KBS2 drama series “Suits” starring Jang Dong-Gun and Park Hyung-Sik. Teaser trailer #2 shows actual footage from the drama series for the first time. In addition, KBS2 has announced rapper BewhY will make a cameo appearance in the drama series. For his cameo appearance, BewhY will play a rapper. This is BewhY’s first acting role.

“Suits” first airs April 25, 2018 in South Korea.

Trailer for movie “Uma no Hone”

Trailer for movie “Uma no Hone” starring Fujiko Kojima and Koji Kiryu. Movie is also written and directed by Koji Kiryu. The film follows a former punk rock singer (now a middle-aged man) and an idol group member who wants to become a singer-songwriter.

“Uma no Hone” will be released June 2, 2018 in Japan.

Song Seung-Heon and Krystal offered lead roles in new drama series “Pan”

Song Seung-Heon and Krystal from ‘f(x)’ have been offered lead roles in new drama series “Pan” (Korean title). Currently, Song Seung-Heon is considering his offer and Krystal is positively considering her offer. If Song Song Seung-Heon accepts the offer, he will play lead male character Kang Ha-Ri. If Krystal accepts the offer, she will play the lead female character Cha A-Ryeong. The Korean title of the drama series is “Pan” which has multiple, different meanings. Cable channel OCN is currently in discussion to air the drama series.

International posters for Lee Chang-Dong directed film “Burning”

Here’s 3 International posters for upcoming Lee Chang-Dong directed film “Burning.” The posters features lead actors Yoo Ah-InSteven Yeun and Jeon Song-Seo respectively. Movie “Burning” has also been invited to screen at the 71st Cannes Film Festival (May 8-19, 2018) in the “In Competition” section. This is the third Lee Chang-Dong film that will screen at Cannes following “Secret Sunshine” and “Poetry.”

“Burning” will be released sometime this May in South Korea.

First script reading for MBC drama series “Secrets and Lies”

First script reading for upcoming MBC weekday morning drama series “Secrets and Lies” (literal title) took place March 29, 2018 at MBC Dream Center in Ilsan, South Korea. The first script reading featured main cast members Seo Hae-WonOh Seung-AKim Kyung-Nam and Lee Joong-Moon among others. Before the first script reading began, Director Kim Jung-Ho stated “I hope when we finish this drama, we can get better and gain something. It can be as an actor or actress or relationship.”

“Secrets and Lies” first airs June, 2018 in South Korea (takes over MBC’s Monday-Friday 7:15 AM time slot after “Enemies from the Past.”).

Nobuyuki Suzuki and Hayato Isomura cast in NTV live-action drama series “Kyo kara Ore wa”

Nobuyuki Suzuki and Hayato Isomura are cast for supporting roles in upcoming NTV live-action drama series “Kyo kara Ore wa” starring Kento Kaku. They will also join already cast supporting members KentaroTaiga and Yuma Yamoto.

For the drama series, Nobuyuki Suzuki will play Satoshi Katagiri. He is a rival of Takashi Mitsuhashi (Kento Kaku) and Shinji Ito (Kentaro). Satoshi Katagiri is the most powerful student at a high school for troubled students. Hayato Isomura will play Takeshi Sagara. He is the second most popular student at the same high school where Satoshi Katagiri attends.

“Kyo kara Ore wa” first airs October, 2018 in Japan.
