Jung Hae-In and Kim Go-Eun are now cast in upcoming movie “Yoo Yeol’s Music Album” (working and literal title). Jung Hae-In will play lead male character Hyun-Woo. He has a bright personality even though he lives in a harsh situation. Kim Go-Eun will play lead female character Mi-Soo. She lives her life diligently. Movie is set during the IMF crisis period and directed by Jung Ji-Woo (“Eungyo“).
Filming for “Yoo Yeol’s Music Album” will begin in the second half of this year and the film will be released sometime next year in South Korea.
Lee Seo-Jin and Sung Dong-Il are cast in new OCN drama series “Trap.” The drama series will have Lee Seo-Jin playing news anchorman Kang Woo-Hyun. He gets involved in a tragedy with his family. Sung Dong-Il will play Ko Dong-Kook. He works as a detective and investigates the case involving Kang Woo-Hyun.
“Trap” will air sometime during the first half of next year in South Korea.
Hiroshi Tamaki is cast in new WOWOW drama series “Nusumareta Kao.” The drama series is based on 2012 novel “Nusumareta Kao” by Keisuke Hada. For the drama series, Hiroshi Tamaki will play Takamasa Shirato. He works as a detective, but catches criminals solely by their faces. Teaser poster for JTBC drama special “Ping Pong Ball” starring Yoo Jae-Myung and Ji Soo. “Ping Pong Ball” is the second drama special in the “JTBC Drama Festa” series of specials. The drama special follows a university student (Ji Soo) as he bonds with a homeless man (Yoo Jae-Myung) who lives nearby.
“Ping Pong Ball” consists of 2 episodes and will air September 17 and September 18, 2018 in South Korea.

Movie is based on 2012 novel “Nanatsu no Kaigi” by Jun Ikeido and directed by Katsuo Fukuzawa. Author Jun Ikeido recently had another one of his novels “Soratobu Taiya” adapted into the movie “Recall” after WOWOW aired the drama series version “The Flying Tire” back in 2009. Like that novel, “The Seven Conferences” was first adapted into 2013 NHK drama series “The Seven Conferences.” Movie also features Yo Yoshida, Tao Tsuchiya and Junpei Mizobata in supporting roles.
“The Seven Conferences” will be released February 1, 2018 in Japan.

The film is based on 2016 novel “82nyeonsaeng Kimjiyoung” by Jo Nam-Joo and directed by first time feature film director Kim Do-Young. Jung Yu-Mi will play title character Kim Ji-Young. As an ordinary Korean women, Kim Ji-Young faces gender discrimination.
