MBC drama series “Terius Behind Me,” starring So Ji-Sub, is now slated to air from September, 2018. In the drama series, So Ji-Sub will play Kim Bon. His character is a legendary NIS agent. His past operations code name was “Terius.” A woman’s husband goes missing. Kim Bon lives next to the woman and helps her uncover a conspiracy involving her husband. Casting for the female lead is ongoing.
Poster and main trailer added for live-action film “Marmalade Boy” starring Hinako Sakurai and Ryo Yoshizawa. The film is based on manga “Marmalade Boy” by Wataru Yoshizumi and directed by Ryuichi Hiroki. In addition, a second wave of supporting actors have been announced for the film which include Kisetsu Fujiwara, Yasufumi Terawaki, Nina Endo and Terunosuke Takezai.
“Marmalade Boy” will be released April 27, 2018 in Japan.
Ji Sung & Han Ji-Min are cast in new tvN drama series “Wife That I Know” (literal title). The drama series’s genre is romance-fantasy and involves time travel. Ji Sung and Han Ji-Min will play married couple Cha Joo-Hyuk and Seo Woo-Jin. A choice that Cha Joo-Hyuk makes cause people, including himself and his wife, to live totally different lives in the present day. Drama series will be directed by Lee Sang-Yeob (“Shopping King Louis“) and screenplay by Yang Hee-Seung (“Oh My Ghost“).
“Wife That I Know” first airs second half of 2018 in South Korea.
First teaser trailer added for MBC drama series “Let’s Hold Hands Tightly and Watch The Sunset” starring Han Hye-Jin and Yoon Sang-Hyun. The teaser trailer revels in its quintessential melodrama roots with lines like Yu In-Young stating around the 0:07 mark “I’ve come to steal Kim Do-Young” and around the 0:37 mark Han Hye-Jin stating with tears streaming down her face “I’ve found someone else” (when earlier scenes show her undergoing some type of CAT Scan).

Main trailer for movie “Microhabitat” starring Esom. Movie follows a young woman who makes very little money while working as a housekeeper. With the increase in price for one of her favorite vices (cigarettes), she decides to give up her apartment rather than give up cigarettes and whisky.
“Microhabitat” will be released March 22, 2018 in South Korea.
Asami Mizukawa is cast in upcoming WOWOW drama series “Double Fantasy.” The drama series is based on 2009 novel “Double Fantasy” by Yuka Murayama (“Angel’s Egg“). The novel won several awards including the “22th Shibata Renzaburo Award,” “16th Shimase Renai Literary Prize” and “The 4th Chuokoron Literary Prize.”
In the drama series, Asami Mizukawa plays 35-year-old screenwriter Natsu Takato. She has a strong sexual desire and uses her adventures to stimulate her writing. Even though she is married, she gets involved with several men. Cast in supporting roles are Kei Tanaka, Hidekazu Mashima, Shuntaro Yanagi, Hiroaki Murakami, Yukiko Shinohara and Yumi Takigawa.
“Double Fantasy” will first air summer, 2018 in Japan.
So Ji-Sub is cast in new MBC drama series “Terius Behind Me” (working and literal title). The drama series will be directed by Park Sang-Hun (“Romance Full of Life“) and screenplay by Oh Ji-Young (“Shopping King Louis“). Plot and So Ji-Sub’s character description has not yet been revealed.
“Terius Behind Me” will first air Wednesday and Thursday at 10PM, beginning this August in South Korea.
Lee Young-Ae is cast in movie “Find Me” (literal title). Although Lee Young-Ae starred in 2017 SBS drama series “Saimdang, Light’s Diary,” this is her first movie acting role since 2005 film “Sympathy for Lady Vengeance.” In the film “Find Me,” Lee Young-Ae will play a mother named Jung-Yeon. She has a son with a mental disability. Her son then disappears from a playground and Jung-Yeon tries to find her son. Movie will be directed by first time feature film director Kim Seung-Woo.
Filming for “Find Me” will begin sometime during the first half of this year in South Korea.
Teaser trailer for movie “Night of 7 Years” (literal title) starring Jang Dong-Gun, Ryoo Seung-Ryong, Song Sae-Byeok and Ko Gyung-Pyo. The thriller film involves a father (Ryoo Seung-Ryong) who kills a girl while driving under the influence. 7 years later, the father (Jang Dong-Gun) of the deceased girl plans revenge.
“Night of 7 Years” is now set for release March, 2018 in South Korea.
