Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “Fortuna’s Eye” starring Ryunosuke Kamiki and Kasumi Arimura. Movie is based on 2014 novel “Forutuna no Hitomi” by Naoki Hyakuta and directed by Takahiro Miki. In addition, main supporting cast members have been announced for the film. Now cast for the film are Jun Shison, Daigo, Airi Matsui, Yukiya Kitamura, Yuki Saito and Saburo Tokito.
“Fortuna’s Eye” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Elaiza Ikeda is cast in TBS-MBS drama series “Room Laundering.” The drama series is a sequel to 2018 movie “Room Laundering” starring Elaiza Ikeda. Also set to return in the drama series version are Kiyohiko Shibukawa, Kentaro Ito, Tomorowo Taguchi and Joe Odagiri. Meanwhile, Eita Okuno will play a new character not found in the original movie. The drama series will be directed by Kenji Katagiri who directed the movie version.
“Room Laundering” will first air November 4, 2018 on MBS and November 6, 2018 on TBS in Japan.
First script for OCN drama series “Quiz from God: Reboot” took place September 5, 2018 in Sangam, South Korea. At the first script reading, Ryu Deok-Hwan, Yoon Joo-Hee and Park Jun-Myun (who appeared in previous “Quiz From God” series) and new cast members Kim Jae-Won, Park Hyo-Joo, Kim Joon-Han and Yoon Bo-Ra (ex ‘Sistar’ member) all attended. Prior to the start of the first script reading, Director Kim Jong-Hyuk stated “I feel a great responsibility for doing this meaningful drama. I will do my best.”

English subtitled trailer for movie “Feng Shui” starring Cho Seung-Woo and Ji Sung. The period film follows Park Jae-Sang (Cho Seung-Woo) who has an ability to to discern orientation of landmarks/buildings to bring about good fortune. He crosses paths with a man (Ji Sung) with a thirst for power.

Teaser trailer #3 for TBS live-action drama series “Chugakusei Nikki” starring Kasumi Arimura and Kenshi Okada. Drama series is based on 2013 manga “Chugakusei Nikki” by Junko Kawakami. Teaser trailer #3 also reveals that “Chugakusei Nikki” will first air October 9, 2018 in Japan.
Cho Jung-Seok is set to make a cameo appearance in currently airing tvN drama series “Familiar Wife” starring Ji Sung and Han Ji-Min. Above is still images of Cho Jung-Seok in his cameo appearance for the drama series. Cho Jung-Seok will play Chef Kang who is the first love of Seo Woo-Jin (Han Ji-Min). The character of Chef Kang is the same character that Cho Jung-Seok played in 2015 tvN drama series “Oh My Ghost.”
Cho Jung-Seok accepted the cameo appearance role due to his working relationship with screenwriter Yang Hee-Seung (screenwriter for “Familiar Wife” and “Oh My Ghost”) and actress Han Ji-Min. Cho Jung-Seok and Han Ji-Min worked together previously in 2014 movie “The Fatal Encounter.”
“Familiar Wife” only has 2 episodes left, so Cho Jung-Seok’s cameo appearance will take place in one of those episodes.
Baek Jin-Hee is cast in KBS2 drama series “Happy If You Died” (literal title) co-starring Kang Ji-Hwan. The drama series is based on webcomic “Jookeodo Joa” by Goldkiwisae. For the drama series, Baek Jin-Hee will play lead female character Lee Roo-Da. Her disliked boss is Baek Jin-Sang (Kang Ji-Hwan). One night, she dreams that her boss is hit by a car.
“Happy If You Died” first airs November, 2018 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Wednesday and Thursday 10PM time slot after “The Ghost Detective“).
Teaser trailer #3 for MBC drama series “Terius Behind Me” starring So Ji-Sub and Jung In-Sun. The brief narration that appears towards the end of teaser #3 has Jung In-Sun stating in Korean “We were individuals who lived in the same space” and then So Ji-Sub responds “but in a totally different world.”

Mitsuki Takahata and Kento Yamazaki are cast in live-action film “Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku.” The film is based on webcomic “Wotaku ni Koi ha Muzukashii” by Fujita and will be directed by Yuichi Fukuda (“Gintama“). For the film, Mitsuki Takahata will play Narumi Momose and Kento Yamazaki will play Hirotaka Nifuji. They are both otaku (the girl a fan of boys’ love manga and the boy a fan of gaming) and they decide to date.
Filming for “Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku” will take place from October to November, 2018. The film will be released via Toho sometime next year in Japan.
