Park Hye-Soo has been offered the lead female role in MBC drama series “The Red Sleeve Cuff” (literal title). Currently, Park Hye-Soo is “positively considering” the offer. If she accepts, Park Hye-Soo will play Royal Concubine Uibin Sung (a real historical person). 2007 MBC drama series “Lee San, Wind of the Palace” also told a story about Royal Concubine Uibin Sung. Screenplay for “The Red Sleeve Cuff” is based on 2017 novel series “Otsomae Beulgeun Kkeuddong” by Kang Mi-Kang, which mixes fact and fiction in a historical setting.
“The Red Sleeve Cuff” will first air first half of 2021 in South Korea.
