Actor Park Hae-Jin has been offered to reprise his role from tvN drama series “Cheese in the Trap” for upcoming movie version “Cheese in the Trap.” If Park Hae-Jin accepts, he will play Yoo Jung again. Currently, Park Hae-Jin is “postively considering” the offer. Park Hae-Jin does have a condition that if he were to accept the role, he wants the original webcomic writer Soon Ggi to take part in the film. Movie version of “Cheese in the Trap” will be a joint production between South Korean and Chinese companies.
Currently, actress Kim Go-Eun, who played the lead female role in the tvN drama series version, has not been offered a role in the upcoming movie version. Seo Kang-Joon though was offered to reprise his role in the movie version two months ago and he has yet to make a final decision.
Lee Sung-Min, Cho Jin-Woong &Kim Sung-Kyun are cast in new movie “Sheriff” (literal title). In the movie “Sheriff,” Lee Sung-Min plays a former detective who considers himself the sheriff of his neighborhood. A flashy businessman played by Cho Jin-Woong then moves into the neighborhood and the ex-detective suspects he is a drug offender. Kim Sung-Kyun plays the brother-in-law of the ex-detective and his assistant in their investigation.
Filming for “Sheriff” begins this July in South Korea.

Actress Han Ye-Ri is cast in upcoming movie “Chunmong” directed by Zhang Lu. Story for the film has Han Ye-Ri playing a woman who runs a bar. There’s three men who are in love with her. The three men will be played by award winning directors Yang Ik-June, Yoon Jong-Bin & Park Jung-Bum. In addition, actress Shin Min-A will make a cameo appearance in the film. Shin Min-A previously worked with director Zhang Lu in 2014 film “Gyeongju.”
Filming for “Chunmoong” begins April, 2016 in South Korea.
Ahn So-Hee (ex Wonder Girls member) is cast in movie “Single Rider” starring Lee Byung-Hun and Kong Hyo-Jin. The film is directed by first time director Lee Joo-Young.
In movie “Single Rider,” Ahn So-Heee plays Ji-Na. Her character is a university student who travels to Australia on a working holiday visa. There she meets a Korean family. The husband fled South Korea after an investment scandal at his workplace.
Filming for “Single Rider” begins March 21, 2016 in Australia.

Story for the film takes place in a small town. A stranger played by Chun Woo-Hee comes to the area and mysterious deaths soon take place. A police officer’s (Kwak Do-Won) daughter becomes sick with the same mysterious ailments as the prior deaths and a shaman (Hwang Jung-Min) is called in.
In addition, release date for “Goksung” is now set for May 12, 2016 in South Korea.

Premise for the film has Gang Ye-Won playing Kang Soo-A. Her character is kidnapped in broad daylight and brought to a psychiatric hospital. There, she undergoes a nightmarish experience. A year later, a TV PD played by Lee Sang-Yoon learns about her experience and seeks her out to uncover the truth.
