Shin Ha-Kyun & Sung Joon cast in movie “Villainess”

Shin Ha-Kyun & Sung Joon are cast in upcoming movie “Villainess” (literal title) starring Kim Ok-Vin. The movie will be directed by Jung Byoung-Gil (“Confession of Murder“). Movie “Villainess” revolves around a killer played by Kim Ok-Vin. She was raised and trained in China, but moves to South Korea hoping to lead a different type of life. Two men become involved with her. Shin Ha-Kyun plays Joong-Sang. He is a mysterious type of figure who trains killers. Sung Joon will play Hyun-Soo. He watches Sook-Hee.

Filming for “Villainess” begins October 16, 2016.

Teaser trailer and posters for movie “Missing”

Teaser trailer and posters added for upcoming thriller film “Missing” starring Uhm Ji-Won & Kong Hyo-Jin. Movie is directed by Lee Eon-Hee (“…ing“). Premise for “Missing” has Uhm Ji-Won playing a mother who is going through a divorce and working a job. She is referred to a nanny played by Kong Hyo-Jin to watch over her daughter. One day, the nanny and her daughter disappears.

“Missing” will be released sometime this November in South Korea.

TaecYeon and Jo Jae-Yun cast in movie “House Above Time”

TaecYeon from ‘2PM’ and Jo Jae-Yun are cast in new movie “House Above Time” (literal title) starring Kim Yunjin. Movie is directed by Lim Dae-Woong (“To Sir with Love“).

In the upcoming film,  TaecYeon will play Priest Choi. He is the only one who wants to believe Mi-Hee (Kim Yunjin). He investigates bizarre cases that take place at her home. Jo Jae-Yun will play Chul-Joong. His character is the husband of Mi-Hee. He died 25 years ago in a tragic incident that took place at their home.

Filming for “House Above Time” begins this month in South Korea.

Filming for movie “Retrial” finishes

Filming for movie “Retrial” (literal title) finished October 3, 2016. Filming took about 10 weeks to finish. The last scene filmed was a court scene. Still images above are also the first from the film. Movie stars Jung Woo as an attorney and Kang Ha-Neul as a prisoner. The attorney works to free the prisoner on a murder conviction.

“Retrial” will be released sometime next year in South Korea.

First script reading for movie “Ggoon”

First script reading & gosa (inaugural ceremony) took place September 26, 2016 for upcoming film “Ggoon” starring Hyun-Bin & Yoo Ji-Tae. The film tells the story of a swindler as he tries to catch a fellow swindler.

Filming for “Ggoon” will begin October 1, 2016 and will last for about 3 months.

Trailer for movie “Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned”

Trailer added for upcoming movie “Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned” starring Gang Dong-Won & Shin Eun-Soo. Movie is written and directed by Uhm Tae-Hwa (“Ingtoogi: The Battle of Internet Trolls“). Story for the film follows a group of children as they go into the forest. When a girl (Shin Eun-Soo) exits the forest she finds that her friends have disappeared. Later, a man (Gang Dong-Won) appears and claims to be a boy that disappeared in the forest just a few days earlier.

“Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned” will be released sometime this November in South Korea.

Kim Tae-Ri cast in movie “Little Forest”

Actress Kim Tae-Ri is cast in movie “Little Forest” directed by Yim Soonrye.

“Little Forest” is based on the manga series of the same name by Daisuke Igarashi which was previously adapted into 2 part film “Little Forest: Summer & Autumn” and “Little Forest: Winter & Spring” starring¬†Ai Hashimoto. Premise for the film has Kim Tae-Ri playing main character Hye-Won. She leaves the big city and moves back to her hometown in the countryside. There, she reconnects with her environment.

“Little Forest” will be released sometime next year in South Korea.
