Son Soo-Hyun cast in SBS drama special “Puck!”

Actress Son Soo-Hyun is cast in upcoming SBS drama special “Puck!” starring Lee Kwang-Soo. In drama special “Puck!,” Son Soo-Hyun will play Nam Sung-Sil. Her character is the manager of a ice hockey team. She also has a temperament where she despises injustice.

Filming for “Puck!” begins October 28, 2015 and the drama special will air sometime later this year in South Korea.

First still images of Shin Min-A in KBS2 drama “Oh My Venus”

Here’s the first still images of actress Shin Min-A in upcoming KBS2 drama series “Oh My Venus” also starring So Ji-Su.

The still images are from Shin Min-A first day of filming for the drama series. Her first day of filming took place October 17, 2015 at a bus stop around a botanical garden in Namsan, Seoul. The scene in the still image has Kang Joo-Eun (Shin Min-A) in her high school days.

“Oh My Venus” first airs November 16, 2015 in South Korea.

Park Min-Young cast in SBS drama “Remember”

Actress Park Min-Young is cast in upcoming SBS drama series “Remember” which has already cast Yoo Seung-Ho in the lead male role. Also cast in the drama series is actor Park Sung-Woong.

In drama series “Remember,” Park Min-Young plays Lee In-A. Her character has a bright and positive personality. While thinking about quitting her studies of law at a university, she sees Jin-Woo’s (Yoo Seung-Ho) father get falsely accused of murder. This becomes a turning point in her life. She eventually becomes a lawyer and helps Jin-Woo, whom she has known since they were young, prove his father’s innocence.

“Remember” first airs this December in South Korea.

MBC drama series “Goodbye Mr. Black” to air March or April 2016

According to MBC, upcoming drama series “Goodbye Mr. Black,” starring Lee Jin-Wook, Moon Chae-Won, Song Jae-Rim & Kim Kang-Woo, will begin to air in either March or early April, 2016. “Goodbye Mr. Black” is based on comic “Goodbye Mr. Black” by Hwang Mi-Na which is itself inspired by French author Alexandre Dumas’s novel “The Count of Monte Cristo.”  “Goodbye Mr. Black” will air Wednesday and Thursday at 10PM. The MBC drama series preceding “Goodbye Mr. Black” has not yet been announced.

Cho Hye-Jung cast in MBC every1 drama series “Imaginary Cat”

Actress Cho Hye-Jung is cast in upcoming MBC every1 drama series “Imaginary Cat” starring Yoo Seung-Ho. Drama series is based on webcomic “Sangsanggoyangi” by Kim Gyung.

In drama series “Imaginary Cat,” Cho Hye-Jung will play Oh Na-Woo. When her character was young, she lost her cat. Due to longing and guilt over her lost cat, Oh Na-Woo now takes care of street cats. She has a crush on Hyun Jong-Hyun (Yoo Seung-Ho).

“Imaginary Cat” first airs sometime this November in South Korea.
